I have bought those yesterday among many other decks. What attracted me is the fact that it's inspired by secret society and conspiracy (ies), which I'm a fan of.

Hello. I just recently found out about Theory 11 and premium playing cards in general. I'm amazed that these even exist and I'm determined to get a lot of decks if they're this good. I just got the Citizens & Hollywood Roosevelts but the Contrabands are on the way. I look forward to more.

Looked at a few Theory11 decks before I came across this one. Knew my search was over right away lol it's a beautiful deck and I can't wait for mine to come in
Great review! I really like the intricate design of everything and as always I appreciate well done custom courts. One minor detail, I think the figure on the ace of hearts is the young king of hearts that you pointed out, not a jack.
Could be. I’ll chalk it up to yet another mystery!

Outstanding review! This is an amazing deck and I have no doubt geeked out on this one also under magnification. :-) Theory11 really did put a lot of effort on this design and its captivating. Fingers crossed that Santa hooks me up with Contraband Book Lamp! LOL If you haven't checked it out, its pretty awesome...

The Jokers are not identical. For example, look at the world map in the background. They're different. I love all the freemason inspired artwork.
Back design seems a little busy to me, might be the color choice; meaning the black and white just seems like too much to me. I would of loved some color variation that would make certain things pop easier. Very nice tuck case as per usual with Theory 11 - Dunno if I'll get this one. I will admit that the cards are beautiful and amazing to see that they are each crafted individually just not too keen on the back design sadly ;/
Yeah totally get your perspective. I think they pulled off the black and white look incredibly well, but I am left wondering what a color-y version would look like. And while I clearly love it, the back walks that fine line between intricate and busy for sure.
