Kawhi canceled LeBron out in the first few minutes of the game. Clippers were up 9-0 before the Lakers knew what hit them. And Kawhi had 4 of those 9 points. Plus, Kawhi defended LeBron on the Lakers first possession of the game, setting the tone on the defensive end as well. I'd have to say Kawhi was the better of the two players last night personally

The craziest part about that game is that the Lakers might have comeback and won if there wasn't those terrible late game turnovers, the fact everyone on the Lakers shot terribly wouldn't have mattered if the momentum was thrown away on the inbound pass from Russ followed by Schroeder's turnover. But when you give up practice 3's to the other team this is what you should expect. The only hope for the Lakers is to go on a long streak of wins with AD to convince Rob that it would make sense to trade the 2027 and 2029 for Bodgonavic or Buddy Hield.

@@semajbrown259 the nba does a terrible job of identifying contested looks but even if you consider that the case if they had positioned their feet parallel to the block and hustled more then they would be preventing a lot of those looks. Also the amount of time they were playing off the clippers worried about them driving to the basket rather than forcing them to drive to help defense is what killed them. Schroeder started to play really aggressive defense which forced a lot of passes around the perimeter but no one else was doing it.
