Its so true tho, he speaks really good and doesn’t physically show any obvious signs of being deaf (like a hearing aid or something) so nobody would be able to tell he’s deaf just by looking at him
@@WarpedKarma6471Not everyone who's deaf uses hearing aids or cochlear implants. If they do, using hearing aids, there are In-The-Ear hearing aids and and Completely-In-Canal hearing aids that are much harder to spot.

As a cashier during COVID-19 I can confirm this is so true. It became a thing where deaf customers would text themselves and show us the screen to communicate. We would then do the same thing so we could talk back as no one knew sign language. We had entire text conversations right in the middle of the lobby where everyone could see us. Everyone else was so confused looking at us.

I love your channel as someone who cannot relate to being deaf I took sign language in high school for three years and I just love seeing how the deaf community interacts in everyday life I think your videos do a great job and comedic take on exploring that

I have a deaf neighbor he is a very kind man I do whatever I can to help him out. I'm still building up the courage to have him show me his truck cause I'm sure there are aid tools and I'm curious because I enjoy cars in general and I'm sure it's cool af
I can't imagine how scary it whould be to not be able to understand what is happening. I saw a video of a deaf man being chased by cops and he tried to talk but it was quite obvious he had trouble and they thought he was intoxicated. The poor guy had to be pinned to the ground before one of them finally decided to give him a notebook to write his name. He was trying to say whatever he could to save himself and that was just heartbreaking. I hope nor you nor the deaf community have to expirience that horror😅
I'm autistic and it was distressing enough for me as a hearie!! I can't imagine how much more annoying it is for dead folks. My dad is going deaf and he found it super hard too
