- Recorded off the air WCVB-TV Boston. Includes commercials and bumpers.
Reuploaded to 4k, audio normalized, and video stabilized through DMR-ES15
Missing the first 10 seconds, tracking issues resolve after the first 30 seconds.
First segment (30 seconds) is from an older capture. That part of the tape will no longer capture on a VCR so I am reusing that old capture for the first 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, the footage is from the newer, DMR-ES15 capture. Audio is sourced from older capture and normalised in Audacity.
Recorded on unknown Betamax BIII.
Played on Sony Super Beta SL-HF860D piped through Panasonic DMR-ES15
captured on Iodata Gv-usb2 in Virtualdub2. - Krátké a kreslené filmy
Rest in Peace Jerry Ver Dorn. Thank you for many years in Daytime TV
That Susan Lucci clip was heavy....one of her best performances
Generation was gone too soon and Another World and Guiding Light was all gone to soon...
RIP Kristin St John 🙏🏿
Sure wish more ‘70s and ‘80s complete Daytime Emmys were on CZcams. 🤔🤔
Santa Barbara was a special show. It seemed to go in downward spiral really quick and Poof it was cancelled. There were was a lot of recasting towards the end of its run but I don’t even think it was even given time to turn things around. Marcy Walker and A Martinez were magic and Robin Wright early on in its run was stunning. Also, Nancy Lee Grahn and Lane Davies were awesome and Julia & Mason. Good memories.
Lane Davies, grandissimo, però non ha mai ricevuto un premio, nemmeno quando era candidato, che😡😡😡😡
Too many recasts, not enough continuity, lots of writer and producer changes.... Pity, Santa Barbara was at one point the best soap opera around, especially 1985-1989.
Neve4 watched loving but that trucker guy is stunningly georgeous!!
Awww the lovely Betty White ❤️😢
Days of our lives didn't get the respect ot deserves
Another World didn't either
Always was junk.

Susan Lucci we love u great actress and talented soo gracious
Santa Barbara winning all these awards year after year is comical seeing as the show would be canceled by 93
Critical acclaim doesn't always translate into high ratings.
It was the best show ever but it lost its magic at its end because of bad writing and too much recast on characters who were on the show at the beginning and came back from nowhere. It was a big hit in France and in many countries, more than in the US. My channel is dedicated to its more popular couple. With them I learned what chemistry on screen was.
@@CandyEdenlovesCruz my favorite soap couple is Tina & Cord from OLTL
They had so much chemistry so I get it but Santa Barbara couldn’t have been just bc of one couple the show won many awards & the show only lasted a few years it couldn’t have justified leaving so many other shows out sorry doesn’t add up
@@meganalves9967 Well nobody knew how long the show was about to last when these ceremonies happened and at the beginning Santa Barbara was not really liked in the US. The show started in 1984 and it started to win Emmys in 1988 so I don't think these awards were stolen. It was at last rewarded for its quality. I'm not a specialist of soap we had few in France and I don't consider Santa Barbara as a soap because it was aired in primetime for us and because the quality, the rythm, in my opinion, is better than the other soaps I know meaning the Young and the restless and The Bold and the beautiful. These two are still there and frankly I don't understand why.
@@CandyEdenlovesCruz those two are better that’s why they are still on
