Would love to see stone cold and jim cornette on the broken skull show talking about the golden history of wrestling!
Yep, especially since as I know Steve was a big fan of Midnight Express
They've had talks before on steve's podcast. Good convos about the golden days.
Already been done. 2 hour video is on CZcams
According to AEW fans. Jim's opinion is irrelevant and he doesnt get along with others 🙄. Having him on the network will shut them up
Austin has been on Jim’s show and he’s been on Steve’s show. Listened to both they are pretty good. I believe they had to do Steve’s show twice bc it didn’t record the first time around
“I sent him back a couple of those emojis” is one of the most old man/retired Stone Cold things I’ve ever heard.
😂💯
Jim is right. Vince letting Jericho go on Stone Cold's show proves that WWE does not see AEW as competition in any way.
Same thing CM Punk said in an interview.
No, It only shows that business is business.
@@eduardopazhurtado3882 it shows they're not a threat, they wouldn't had done this for WCW, or even TNA back in the day.

@@eduardopazhurtado3882 *BZZZZ* Incorrect sir!
Not threat, so no fucks given from Vince.
It makes sense Jericho got Steve into the podcast game. Regardless of how you feel about his recent work Jericho has had a hell of a career and was there for a long time.
He WAS a good heel...WAS. He needs to go away though. He's not good anymore.
He was one of the best in WWE, it is a real shame to see what he's become in AEW.
I thought Adam Carola was a big part of Austin starting a podcast.
I know this would never happen but it would be a great way to kick off an invasion angle...
At the conclusion of the interview when they go to shake hands and Austin thanks Jericho for being on the show. They pull a swerve and Austin flattens Jericho with a Stunner. Austin then grabs a folding chair that is on the set as a prop and wears Jericho out with it. Austin yells at Jericho "DTA you dumb son of bitch". You don't actually see Austin hitting Jericho because he is down behind the interview desk. After enough of a beating is administered, Austin grabs Jericho by the hair and drags him back into view and shoves Jericho's bloodied face into the camera and says "Hey AEW, shots fired! We're coming for you sorry sons of bitches and that's the bottom line cause the WWE said so!". Screen fades to black.
@@AWX_Wrestling If that were to happen Tony Khan would shit himself, based on talent alone WWE has them beaten easy.

AEW is totally gonna use this podcast to say that they have done a crossover with WWE sometime down the line
They are so pathetic lol
Everybody is so jealous that only WCW was actually worthy of WWE's attention, it's hilarious. Even then WCW threw dozens of shots at WWE before they ever responded. Instinctually that tells me everybody (including WWE themselves) really knows who's the top dog of the business.
They won't. I guarantee you Jericho made sure on all fronts that nobody fucks with this, just so it doesn't mess up the relationship with Vince he is trying to re-establish here. In his mind, Jericho can't wait until his contract ends, he's already arranging his return to WWE.
Maybe a tool like Tony Khan can't see it or doesn't want to admit it to himself, but Jericho is fucking GONE from AEW the moment his contract expires.
I very much doubt it - neither AEW or WWE will make a big deal over this - they just see it as it is....two wrestler buddies shooting the sh*t over their careers - no political motives - it’s the fans that are making the bigger deal out of it, and I’d be very surprised if either company even mentions it in their programming
A totally good story but it only exists in your mind. Spoken like a one sided fan.

Whatever opinions people had prior to this aren't going to change clearly lol. This is good exposure for AEW since they are the ones constantly trying to get WWE to acknowledge them. They are also the company who wants to have crossovers with everyone. They also conveniently have Cena's show air commercials during their program.

Cornette finally right about this. Vince/WWE were scared of AEW in 2019. There actions made that perfectly clear. But that changed in the past 10 or 11 months. Vince now willing to release talent, let big names like Wight&Christian go and allowing this podcast. Even though I'm sure there will be no mention of aew. Just that Jericho works for competition or whatever. That said with NXT moving to Tuesdays. And after all talent AEW has added&WWE programming continuing to slip. This could be major Vince mistake again like he allowed WCW overtake them. We could be in 1995 right now.
@Aaron Lassiter yes he was scared it would be huge from day one. Which is why he overpaid to keep so many people. Put NXT head to head against them etc. When ur giving wrestlers 5 year deals at 500k per year who u don't even use on tv. Just so they don't go to AEW it says something. Like I said actions tell how he truly felt. His actions changed in 2020 with cutting talent& other things. That said it's probably wrong time to take foot off the gas for Vince given NXT no longer going to be on Wednesday. Along with all the talent AEW now has compared to 14 months ago.
@Aaron Lassiter that's being scared lol. Other wise he would go on as business as usual and let AEW do whatever they wanted. Instead he overpaid everyone. Refused to release people. Moved NXT to USA. To get fans to watch their show instead etc. They had NXT invade Raw&Smackdown with Adam Cole NXT champ pinning Daniel Bryan clean. While putting over NXT at Survivor Series as brand who won the most matches etc. Again the actions speak for themselves. Things changed in 2020. But there was no doubt there was serious concern about aew at first. Which I have a feeling that concern will be back a year from now

AEW facts
- there are 20 former WWE talent as wrestlers, managers, coaches, & announcers
- there are 12 factions in AEW right now
- they have only fired 2 people in the 18 months they've been on the air (Bea Priestley & Jimmy Havoc)
- their last PPV made $6-7m which is almost enough to pay Chris Jericho
AEW only gets a percentage of those 6/7 millions
It's always good to acknowledge your competition. There's a place for AEW. And maybe, just maybe down the line it will rival rating for rating, dollar for dollar with the WWE. Vince would see Jericho as a WWE guy and knows that's where most casual fans will recognise Jericho from.
AEW has a good set up, they just need to let things grow.

This is closer to the early-mid 90’s drought where the entire industry was hurting so every random crossover be it ECW or Japanese promotions was allowed. This isn’t a war over domination of a market, at worst it’s a desperate struggle over the few remaining resources and otherwise it’s a natural disaster - the big picture is that wrestling in general is in a bad way.
