I know this would never happen but it would be a great way to kick off an invasion angle...
At the conclusion of the interview when they go to shake hands and Austin thanks Jericho for being on the show. They pull a swerve and Austin flattens Jericho with a Stunner. Austin then grabs a folding chair that is on the set as a prop and wears Jericho out with it. Austin yells at Jericho "DTA you dumb son of bitch". You don't actually see Austin hitting Jericho because he is down behind the interview desk. After enough of a beating is administered, Austin grabs Jericho by the hair and drags him back into view and shoves Jericho's bloodied face into the camera and says "Hey AEW, shots fired! We're coming for you sorry sons of bitches and that's the bottom line cause the WWE said so!". Screen fades to black.

WWE side clearly Vince doesn't see it as a big deal since WWE is getting deals left and right and even at its worst is still profitable on a different night than AEW Dynamite anyway. Cornette finally right about this. Vince/WWE were scared of AEW in 2019. There actions made that perfectly clear. But that changed in the past 10 or 11 months. Vince now willing to release talent, let big names like Wight&Christian go and allowing this podcast. Even though I'm sure there will be no mention of aew. Just that Jericho works for competition or whatever. That said with NXT moving to Tuesdays. And after all talent AEW has added&WWE programming continuing to slip. This could be major Vince mistake again like he allowed WCW overtake them. We could be in 1995 right now.

Put NXT head to head against them etc. When ur giving wrestlers 5 year deals at 500k per year who u don't even use on tv. Just so they don't go to AEW it says something. Like I said actions tell how he truly felt. His actions changed in 2020 with cutting talent& other things. That said it's probably wrong time to take foot off the gas for Vince given NXT no longer going to be on Wednesday. Along with all the talent AEW now has compared to 14 months ago.

Moved NXT to USA. To get fans to watch their show instead etc. They had NXT invade Raw&Smackdown with Adam Cole NXT champ pinning Daniel Bryan clean. While putting over NXT at Survivor Series as brand who won the most matches etc. Again the actions speak for themselves. Things changed in 2020.
