- This July, Julie and her family visited the Hollywood Bowl to see the Maestro of the Movies, the one and only John Williams. Alongside Gustavo Dudamel he conducted the LA Phil and they played some of Johnny's most beloved concert works, including music from "Indiana Jones", "Superman", "Jurassic Park", "E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial", the John Wayne western "The Cowboys", and of course "Star Wars". The setlist also included a romantic piece by Bernard Herrmann from Alfred Hitchcock's "Vertigo". #babygirl #hollywoodbowl #lightsaber

I'm soooo jealous.
I was 5 when E.T. came out and it was the first live action movie my dad took me to see. John Williams was my hero from that moment on. That was at an age were I had finally grasped the concept of composers being mortals and the music I used to know, like Mozart or Beethoven, was music by people that died even way before my grandparents were born.
So to learn that movies came with music by people that were not at all dead, and wrote music just as powerful as Beethoven, was blowing my child brain.
And here we are, 41 years later and the man is still alive and giving concerts, and a tiny Baby Julie gets to see them live.
And she won't even remember it when she is older...
Then they should take her to concert’s more often

It was amazing when everyone brought out their lightsabers during "Duel of the Fates". When your daughter watches the video of this concert in the future, she'll be thrilled that you took her to such an exciting event. Building these types of memories together is important for parents to do with their children. Raising a child with love, care, and enjoyable experiences is essential. Those big inquisitive eyes are soaking it in but she also has great appreciation for the music. The Star Wars section was great. Hollywood Bowl is a great outdoor venue for music and even though the 101 freeway is very close you can’t tell.

Thanks for taking us - Julie's audience - to the concert...and what a concert of medlies ! Julie enjoyed the music, but nighttime isn't always the righttime. I too got sleepy watching her fall asleep.
