It’s a little coincidental how it keeps turning on with every kind of earbud/headphone except Apple air pods. It would almost seem like they are trying to drive me crazy to the point of using only Apple AirPods 😤

Not being able to just turn off voice control seems like a major design flaw. iOS 16 still giving us useless shit we’ll forget about in a week but they won’t let us completely disable voice command 15yrs later💀 goofy ass company

Hey guys this doesn't help.. so simply ask siri "How to disable the voice control" option will popup jst tap on tht n its done.. worked for me hope work for u guys as well
If only mine were that simple. I tried that. It simply comes back on. There’s no stopping this thing. 😧😵💫😆 Edit: i see i missed the keywords in your answer “ask Siri”. That’s why it’s working for you. Apparently you have to have either Siri or Voice Command on.
It would be so nice if what you say were true. My Iphone goes into Voice Control every time my eyeglass sidepiece jostle my hearing aids. I have that toggle turned off. If you know a way to really turn it off so that it never comes back, I would appreciate a reply with that information.
I really HATE IPHONE. Even that useless shit is off it is still disturbing me while listening music during working out. My next phone will definitely be Samsung. I will never buy this crap
i wish what i just went through was filmed. phone stuck in voice over, forgot what its called so kepte saying voice control and it wouldnt let me touch anything, never indicates how many times your supposed to touch something before it does it, i was pressing once, twice thrice and spamming the home button on my assistive touch but it wouldnt repspond or do anything, tried to click away after realsing it wasnt going to work and that wouldnt register either. just kept saying dismiss dismiss but never actually dismissed, what is even the purpose of that? i just wanted to see if it would read an article, surely blind people need to scroll down an article too to read? why it doesnt somehow allow you you to move the screen i dont know, seems completely pointless as it currently is
