Not sure why I haven't seen this earlier.
Lawrence has got some mad skills for climbing and rigging.
He's showing a lot of us "older" guys how to get it done right.
Actually got to work with him a few times(Arbor X video).
Very laid back and willing to share his knowledge. 😎👊
Thanks for posting up this video.
Keep yourself safe! 😃👍❤🌲
Randy
Wow. The man himself. I bought his climbing vid a while back. Great guy in person too. Thanks for this.
Great guy and full of tricks!
@@Stridertrees Hey would you know off hand what model that knee ascender is? thanks for sharing this!
@@jbbolts i think it's one of those super cool unicender-style mechanical prusics from Thompson tree tools....
I've always wanted to try them but seems like they're always sold out.
Am old timer now yes.i spent many yrs working in industry the advances in working tools gadgets is mind blowing.

They guy is incredible. Remember watching him ten years ago before everyone was doing things he was!!crazy city removals in-between building s.just insane..
Yeah he’s done some wild jobs there in the city !
@@Stridertrees do you know of any other bucket rated climbing saddles??????
@@Stridertrees you don't remember me because I had to change my you tube name.had internet issues for telling truth and was booted ofline.we talked quite a bit when you first started your channel..I specifically remember talking with you when I was wounded about saddles ..on your video comparison s on saddles ..
@@Stridertrees just so you know ..waz one of your first subs.
@@Sethhaun78 the Treerex combined with the vector Chest X is a CE certified fall arrest system in. Which would be fit for that purpose unless your employer requires the dorsal attachment.
Thank you
Class act this guy. Cheers!
Awesome video!
Thanks, Glad you like it
lawrence is the man
*everyone climbs differently* personally I prefer to travel light with only what I need hence the walkthrough before you start work so I’m not getting snagged or have to much on my saddle so I may preserve my energy for the rest of the day *not harping on anyone or thing just putting that out there*
That’s true ! Which is why it was fun to see what Lawrence was using. My kit is so different too
Explain canopy spider-based system please
I'm looking into srt for hunting purposes for a climbing device to ascend and descend as quick as possible what would you recommend I will be using a hunting saddle and won't be doing any type of redirection really. However most guys I see ascending and descending are using a belaying device "madrock" life gaurd doesn't seem to safe to me am I wrong? Any advice or help would be great. Thanks.
I'm curious about the throwline storage. I've never seen those frisbee's before.
I think Those are Courant pop throw-line bags
Might could get away with some walmart bags and some wire..
@Daniel Reynolds The pop-up laundry baskets actually work great for budget throwline storage.
@@TimberTrainer thanks homie
Eduardo!
A once in a generation tree climber.. You will never do what he does...
@@Stridertreeswhats that purple rope hes using?
That looks like a heavy harness.
Nope. Just the best
