- Megamind is an absolute cinematic masterpiece so it was practically in my contract that I needed to take it Out Of Context. It was definitely one of my favorite movies from my childhood and one that I think a lot of people could rewatch several times over.
Despite that Megamind is generally considered an incredible movie, it’s actually one of Dreamworks Animation’s lowest-grossing films. The movie made $321 million dollars worldwide, making less box office money than films like Trolls, Home and Boss Baby. Yes, you read that right, Boss Baby. Megamind is also receiving an upcoming series on peacock titled, “Megamind’s Guide To Defending Your City”
Though he is the most-brilliant supervillain the world has known, Megamind (Will Ferrell) is the least-successful. Thwarted time and again by heroic Metro Man (Brad Pitt), Megamind is more surprised than anyone when he actually manages to defeat his longtime enemy. But without Metro Man, Megamind has no purpose in life, so he creates a new opponent, who quickly decides that it's more fun to be a bad guy than a hero.

The Queen of England isn't really a queen of sorts. She holds very little political power nowadays, and is mostly a figurehead of England.
Ironically, he's technically correct, since her official title is 'Queen of Great Britain and Northern Ireland', which England is just one part of.

Megamind isn't tied. How to train your dragon was pretty good, but it wasn't brilliantly subversive, and the jokes don't hit quite as hard. There's a much bigger cast, so none of them get as much time to shine. It might have some good quotes, but almost every scene in Megamind has something inherently quotable.

The voices in this movie were chosen so well tbh. As a fan of arrested development, I like David so much better as this character than tobias.. I know that would make a lot of people mad to hear haha. Jonah hill, david cross, will Ferrell, Brad pitt.. they fit the characters well.
