- Find out how we are trying to minimize the risk of avalanches in our resort. Our staff from the SOS Team are constantly controlling all the dangerous areas and removing snowfields where they need to be removed. With the helicopter, on skis or with specially made cable cars they place blasting charges and watch what happens next.

At 6:28 is a huge blue emmition of light. Is this effect or raw? If its raw it must have been light produced from the punshed icecrystals. Very interesting, like this crazy job!

@@hoodio Pause the moment of the explosion. The snow around the explosion gets compressed and shines blue. Checked it on different screens. Its only for a splitsecond

i'd say it's the shockwave condensing water in the air
@@hoodio nah. Water that's being condensed needs energy to change the state. I am talking about crystalized structures, that emit light when being hit. I think, that's what's happening there.
Would've liked less bombastic music and more information about the guys using a mortar. Nevertheless, I liked the video, thank you.
