Terry Hall, of The Specials and Fun Boy Three, appears on the program, much to the delight of Mark Lamarr, who continues to play the vocal hook from Fun Boy Three's 'The Lunatics are Taking Over the Asylum' whenever he feels like it, typically following a good line, or a good Terry line. Terry, ever the good sport, goes along with it throughout the night.

Terry was a quiet genius. He didn’t have to flex or ask for attention. He just got on with his music his way and it just grew on you. It’s always been there and will always resonate.
Totally agree 😊
Still can't believe that Terry is gone. If people haven't heard his solo Albums Home and Laugh, just listen. Underrated music and Forever J a classic that deserved a lot more recognition. RiP Terry. Genius.
Wicked 1 liner
Forever J is my all time favourite song.
"You want me to do a line?" never fails to make me laugh
LOL....and he does it soooo DEAD PAN! LOVE IT!!🤩🤩
If that was Liam Gallagher it would’ve been funny to see him get out the rock ‘n’ roll nose powder!!!!
R.I.P to this legend
Oh, no way, I missed that. RIP Terry
Legend?! Really?? To u maybe…
@@edgodsall3740 why would you even say such a thing
You yourself have just achieved legendary status, mate. I thought I'd seen the biggest t**t I'd ever come across in my life, but you've just taken that title by some considerable distance!
@@aidengeddes8734 Because he is an attention seeking arse maybe?
Just a thought😊
Terry Hall is a legend but let's not forget about the great Sean Hughes as well 🙏
Absolutely 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I met Terry Hall ,Neiville Staples and another member of The Specials in a hotel where I was working in 1979 in Cambridgr.
I have the LP signed by the three of them
Terry was good looking..very handsome man with a dry sense of humour...a true legend and gone too soon. Sadly missed 😢 xx
His music just went from strength to strength, with the second Fun Boy Three album and first Colourfield one being bona fide classics
Terry has got a lovely smile, seeing you don't see him do it a lot.😎
I miss this bloke already. RIP
So sad massive part of my life as a kid & as a 60 yr old grump RIP terry
Love this terry hall is so good looking and funny too
Terry is so bloody handsome 😍❤️
@Julie Eales totally is, and hilarious too 😍😂
I agree a hunk of a man and witty too
Terry was a such a cool man.
A very droll, laconic and world weary treasure, I love Fun Boy Three, they remain memorably catchy, clever and sardonic, with some great videos too. He's slightly bemused at the whole show, in that Terry way, as well.
Well written, lovely.
fascinating character..looks about 30
The eighties would not have been the same without TERRY HALL RIP TOP MAN ❤⚘
0:52 such a beautiful smile ...RIP Terry 😥💔
He was a great sport. Rest in peace sir.
Terry Hall got a royalty every time that clip from Lunatics was played.
i'll be honest as soon as i heard he had passed i thought about "You want me to do a line?"
RIP Terry
Wow, mr hall had a great (laconic) sense of humour. RIP
Crazy that Terry and Sean are both no longer with us.
Terry hall ledgend what a lovely man he was r.i.p
Terry's legacy of unique music will live on always,RIP brother.
RiP Terry Hall, a voice of a generation.

Soundtrack of my youth right there, a felllow Midlander. RIP Terry Hall
RIP Sean Hughes & Terry Hall 😭
I was brought up with Ska, Rocksteady. An reggae in the 60’s……. This guy just carried it on……. Bless him😎🙏🏼🥃
You like blick music?
What a sense of humor. Love it!
R.I.P Terry Hall and Sean Hughes two deadset legends
What a legend and hero, no need for begging for attention like some of the panel, sign of a true star.
terry used to live in leamington spa. used to see him around on a saturday he always looked friendly.
Didn’t happen to be a Saturday morning did it?
@@garybaldy5731 always on Saturdays!
I'm not totally sure: I've yet to work it out but the passing of Terry Hall has really affected me.
Feel the same. He was very, very special.
Ive never felt this way since Freddie Mercury passed away. Terry Hall to a generation you were the vioce and the look of a time that had nothing. RiP brother.
Very few people who are as successful as he was retain his normal person vibe. Witty and dry yet unpretentious
It’s been 3 months and 4 days since Terry died and I’m still shattered. I don’t enjoy anything in life anymore. I’ve had a lot of losses in life but Terry passing away has impacted me far more than any other, including the death of my father and my best friend.
R.I.P Terry
Terry Hall you legend! R.I.P
God bless you Terry.
Such a sweetie pie. Truly gorgeous man.
R.I.P Terry Hall x
Dead ringer for the young |Peter Cook. Terry was a true original.
RIP Terry
Hostage joke ill advised. Terry was a class act.
Yes, I winced a little hearing that.
Anything 'Phill' Jupitus says is ill-advised
R.I.P.
Handsome talented ❤RIP x
Miss terry he was and is a ska legend forever
I think the fb3 sample was starting to wear a bit thin with Terry by the end of that show…
He was a classic guy!!!
See there last but one at gig at beautiful days 2022 still brilliant
It’s sad 😎
R.i.p.terry hall sadly missed
Poor old Tezzer leave him alone!! He always looked subdued and aloof but I guess that was his style, and he was one hell of a songwriter who will be missed by millions, and not just for the specials stuff! He wrote “thinking of you” which is mine and my other half’s “our song” so he will always have a special place in my heart!!!!
The legend terry hall 😔
I miss this show.
Terry Hall genius 👏
Rip of l'éternité terry hall🌹🌹❤❤❤
Coventry City should have the white/black chequered Two Tone scheme as their away strip.
RiP Legend!
Sadly both Sean and Terry no longer with us.😭
Terry was a cute guy humble,witty 💕
not long till the resurrection.
boris karloff in black sabbath
Does anyone know where I can watch the full episode? I can't find it anywhere!
Terry Hall showing try Dry wit
Sean's gone too. RIP both. X
My cuz x
.......Funny story.
It was actually Boris Karloff in the film, Black Sabbath, not Vincent Price. The Specials + old horror films ❤️
not bad!
Cheers for the memories Tel. You were the best. 👌
You can tell Terry is pure piss right Aff
What did Terry say when they had a line up of guys?
I preferred him on Spender
@@julieeales Spender?? Wat is it?
@@theselector4733 A drama on TV
@@theselector4733 Jimmy Nail ! Google it.
@@theselector4733 It was jummy Nail as a copper and his assistant kind of guy (dogy type) was called Stick.
The Good die young
Terry gone. Sean gone too. Wtf.
Back when Buzzcocks was funny.
I don’t have a name
Hahaha ooh matron. Father dearest, can I sit in your Rolls Royce? Hoo hoooo.
Hahahahee. You are the Walrus.
Terry is definitely above the station of these people.
NSTAGRAM!! MYSPACE are OUT! LOVe how you HIT ON US. AS WE WERE 16!!! LOL
Too young too soon.😪
He was funnier than Sean Hughes
Loved Terry gone far to early
"Before they were called Black Sabbath... they didn't have a name".
Not true Mr. Hall, they were called The Polka Tulk Blues Band then Earth then Black Sabbath.
Lol, never let the truth get in the way of a good story!
Yeah Terry's version was funny
Idiocracy. Not remotely funny. I bet Hall is thinking why the hell have I come on here.
He was loving it
Phil Jupitus is like a really unamusing cab driver, about as funny as a three day long migraine attack.
Listening to Terry is akin to watching paint dry
Like ur comments 😂
What a waste talent😢
I hate when people tell that Black Sabbath story. It's not even true and Vincent Price didn't even act in the film Black Sabbath. Chatting utter shit.
So. You have the real answer then.?
Or you just a whinge bag.?
Go and get a happy meal ffs :)
I hate it that people say utter shite - it was a comedy show, Terry Hall was brilliant in it, he's dead now and the world is a worse place - enjoy your life
RIP Terry
R.I.P.
Terrys sardonic dry humour was so funny.
