So if you lower the pressure on the regulator(@compressor) you get more cfm?

No, you just get less pressure. To get more CFM you need to either get a thicker hose or if you're compressor is constantly running, get a larger compressor.

behemothinferno , thank you, I heard somewhere that you get less CFM with higher pressures, i have 60 gallon air compressor, I think it makes enough cfm for my paintguns

My compressor is 4.o compressor and my air gun is 4.8cfm will it work properly
