    The most surprising part is the entire mission cost less than one F- 35B 😱

      That's true and ISRO should be celebrated for achieving this DESPITE being so underfunded. Even if 10% of the nationwide corruption money went into ISRO it would be fascinating to see what MORE they could achieve

    I'm glad that they develop nice tracking of rocket during launch,wich was not the case earlier,nice footage 🌟🇮🇳

      Rocket Tracking is not new to ISRO.
      ISRO have this facility from Decades.

      @vineethg6259 Před 10 měsíci

      @@gauravsharma_7e probably meant the quality of the launch footage (video). It was often atrocious in the earlier launches. The cameras couldn't keep track of rocket as it rose. This time it is a lot better. But there is still vast scope of improvement. They focus too often on people's faces in the control centre than on the launch plots and graphics. And when they show the trajectory plots and launch graphics, the camera angles are awkward. Those plots themselves look too outdated. It seems they are still using the Win95 software they developed in the '90s. You can notice the qualitative difference if you check out the launch footage from NASA, SpaceX, ESA, JAXA or even CNSA.
      Edit: Not to forget the jerky onboard camera that shows stage and satellite separation.

      @@vineethg6259 common give it a break it cost 75 million for the mission.
      Even an MQ drone cost double than this entire mission

    • @vineethg6259
      @vineethg6259 Před 10 měsíci +1

      @@okman9684 Does that mean ISRO do not have the funds for some decent cameras or to get someone to make modern software? 😁 This is nothing but a typical Indian bureaucratic mindset. Like other govt departments or our socialist-era companies, these ISRO folks live in a bubble of their own oblivious how things have moved ahead in the outside world. (My father worked in ISRO until his retirement. So I have some idea about what I'm talking.)
      Secondly, when you quote the costs mentioned by ISRO, keep in mind that they often omit other government expenses involved in the project like salaries for the employees involved, the cost of equipments they may have purchased etc.

    Why are they still using CB radios for communications? Just doesn't give people any kinds of confidence seeing the truckies' 2way radios used in a rocket launch to the moon.
