Two questions for you - 1) can you cut the patch in half to save some for another time? And 2) do you like the Etherlite XT Extreme? I know it has a high R value and I’m looking for a warmer pad.

1. I’d be concerned it wouldn’t be large enough to stick. You could use Tenacious Tape if you didn’t have the kit.
2. It’s a good pad, but go wide. I just got the Nemo Tensor Extreme, which packs down smaller and weighs less with a higher r-value. I haven’t tried it yet (probably this week), but I love my Tensor insulated (the prior model). I have both in wide.
I’ll be selling the Etherlight and my Xlite and just keeping the two Tensors.
