Word has Navigation Pane for moving sections around with drag and click, has automatic backups, has distraction-free settings, syncs with all Clouds, and perhaps most importantly, it's the software that authors use for "speaking" to one another, and is required for traditional publishing submissions. Few authors take the time to learn MS Word for all its capability. :-)
