I was there at that performance in SF. It was the summer of 2005 at the Cow Palace. His slap “Summer Nights” was a hit and 94.9 brought him out here to perform. It was packed with Nortenos and Surenos. SFPD and DCPD was in full force inside waiting for things to pop off. When he hit the stage all the Northerners were towards the back and the upstate Southerners were more towards the stage. It’s true bottles thrown at him, gangs signs, and soda was thrown. The lady was right there at the stage.
I also was there, the northern homies wasn’t having it once he hit the stage, shit got a little tense and the homies were rushing towards the stage. Out of nowhere these two dudes in the middle of the crowd, one of them if I recall was rocking some Raider jersey but they were SS and bro they got the breaks beat out of them, no lie they got rushed/jumped but it’s like common bro what you think was going to happened when you surrounded by hella norteños.
