haha! I get what some are saying. His features are still quite soft and feminine. But I think he'll look less "awkward" after a year or 2 of testosterone. I don't give af what other people do with their bodies. I just think you gotta do what's right for you. If he's happier, I'm happy for him.
It's disheartening for me to watch. I've always enjoyed this actor, since Hard Candy. It may be hard to understand and take time getting used to saying the correct pronouns. However, all that matters is that he did exactly what needed to be done to be happy and comfortable in his body. Life is a journey and we all have no business worrying about journey's that aren't ours. We have our own lives to live and worry about. Why use our short time in this life on Earth to hate others and hate what we what we do not understand.
So I guess you're okay with seeing someone depressed slitting their wrists. Why is it different when someone cuts their boobs off?
@@ultimatesportsmedicine4395 I don't hate Elliot at all, I don't really hate anyone. But I do feel sorry for her. To choose (or be encouraged/coerced into) a life of medicalisation. Taking Testosterone that will likely lead to osteoporosis, vaginal atrophy and greater risk of heart attack. Feeling like you have to remove healthy body parts? It's a terrible mental illness. i absolutely wish her happy but I can't help feeling that that really isn't going to cut it long term.
People get triggered when a super public figure Is publicizing to young susceptible Boys/girls to cut off parts of your body. Thats It, really, i don' t hate her, i hate the publicity that Is given to her. I would prefer to see other role models in those world.
I don’t know why Elliot isn’t the interviews with the rest of the cast but for me it adds to the immersion that Victor is ostracized from the family. I don’t like it but is a cope I can live with
Elliot and the show has been getting massive hate purely because he is trans. I feel like it was his choice to take a step back from the media so he could minimize the exposure to hate comments.

For all the people deliberately using Elliot's deadname (his name before transition), please stop. You're not doing anything but making fools of yourselves. He's legally changed his name to Elliot so that's what his name is. Why is it that when someone changes their name for a reason that has nothing to do with their gender, everyone immediately just accepts it, but when it's a trans person changing their name, so many still decide to use their old one. It just makes no sense to me. Even if you don't believe trans people are real or valid or whatever, you could at least use their real name.

I do know he is working on a few new things and may have been busy. Also heard that he's pretty darn shy when he doesn't have a script, and he's been open about having very hard times at some premieres, I would not be surprised if this was about as many people as he is comfortable with not scripted.

So Ellen Page transitioned to Elliot Page. I watched season 3 and I found it extremely annoying that it focused so much on this. I mean, aren’t actors supposed to act? It must be so tiring constantly talking and thinking about your supposed 'gender identity', and getting the mannerisms right. Ellen looks so uncomfortable in her skin. She can barely even look up. I feel tense looking at her, because she's tense. It's such a shame that she couldn't accept her true self. This world sucks for women.

It's a show with a lot of wacky concepts and comedic interactions, and a fair deal of tragedy and pain and violence. I don't see how having an occasional dancing scene makes it any less of a dark comedy.
I agree. Emmy (Allison's actor) did so well with what she was given. She can ACT. The whole lot of them can. She just got a very bad cut this season
