So JBL has really been expanding their Partybox Line up, we have big Partyboxes and we have small Partyboxes. But today we’re going to break down JBL’s current party box line up cause it is pretty big, there is some fragmentation to look out for and and I feel that the Partybox Ultimate is our preview at JBL’s new generation of Partyboxes.

@@jann8490 yeah man, if the 710 had a battery it would be best BY FAR, the sound quality is insane and the bass is exactly like four 310s.... i have two 310s and the 710 still has at least twice as much bass 😅 i gotta say the 310 is still my favorite because of portability and battery
i have 710 and two 310s, they sound great connected because the 310s add a bit of midrange which the 710 lacks a tiny tiny bit, also opens up the sound more
@@Sickened-CZcamsthat is my personal dream setup. I imagine having the two 310s on stands placed left and right and one 710 laying on the ground for that extra bass. This will make some sick sound for a party I feel like 🎉😂
@@andya.4612 yeah its great you need long aux cables though, but two 710s is cheaper and has more bass and volume than my setup but i like having the 310s since i can take those outside

Was up , GC I’m loving my JBL ultimate I’m impressed from my 310, 710,, they all are amazing but this one for me ears is incredible,, I use to DJ when I was younger to bad they didn’t have this back in the days ,, I will be getting another

Are you sure you can’t use any of these speakers with a mixer/dj decks ? Could I get an rca ~ aux cable and plug the aux end into my JBL 110 and the rca into my decks? Would there be any delay ?

In 2022 I purchased a 100 and three 110s. Great speakers! I then sold them all to get two 710s when they came back in stock after some supply issues that year and after seeing your review video of the 710. So worth it!! Just one 710 rattles my walls with no bass boost and even less than half volume depending on the track that I'm playing. 💥
Unrelated to the vid, but will you be looking at the new Skullcandy barrel speaker? I’ve been hearing good things about it.
Please help me decide, I’m between the 1000 and 710 some people are saying the 710 sounds better, but I’ve never heard either one. I want one that sounds good at max volume for outside use and for the Bass to be felt. Money not being an issue which one should I get ?

for personal use the 710 would be the limit but even that one is a bit overkill. sadly it is not portable otherwise it would be the best all rounder speaker out there
You can just get a power station, it is basically a power bank, but it has normal house outlets on it

@@joehaddoub8832I have a friend who works with two PB710 as a DJ, using a Pioneer set. It fills parties for 100 people very well in a closed space. Above that, she uses two JBL Eon with a 15" sub. The great thing about the 710's is the portability without needing to carry a subwoofer in comparison with the Eons with subwoofer.
Why is XLR so important? Does the sound get worse because of higher volume/gain if using an audio jack?

That is really sad they all only use SBC. You mention there is no lag though? I'd like to see a lag test for bluetooth. I assume wired has zero lag.
Form what i notice is the Ultimate replaces the PB 1000 the one where the whole front of the speaker was like a giant Pulse speaker with a subwoofer underneath it.
Yes that's right, Ultimate is the successor to the 1000, the 1000 is no longer available from JBL, they have stopped manufacturing
The biggest miss of all these speakers (imho) is you only have a mini jack input. No balanced input, XLR or RCA. Bluetooth is great for party’s when you use a phone but as soon as you want to attach a mixer you’re stuck with mini jack. I would be happy to pay a bit more to have more IO on the boxes to make it more versatile in different uses
What will be the issue with using the audio jack input in comparison with a XLR one?
Just get portable PA if you care about all that

I'm looking into getting a JBL Partybox 710. my question is I already own the JBL Charge 5 and so do most of my friends. When we have any get togethers we just link our Charge 5's with the button on top of the speakers. is it possible to get the 710 to Aux out with a cable to the usb port on the Charge 5 to get them to play together? so 710 Aux out to Charge 5 then the Charge 5's linked in their own mesh network? Is that a thing or am I asking too much out of the architecture of these units?

This wouldn't work. Also the 710 is so overpowered in comparison to the charge 5 you won't be able to hear the charge 5 in close proximity to the 710.

@@sonny9546 all the speakers are not in the same room. For instance this is a house party. The 710 is in the Living Room with the master Charge 5. The other Charge 5s are spread out to different areas; backyard, kitchen, garage, 2nd floor den, basement rec-room. I’m not trying to crank the 710 to max. Just enough to make some bass in the main area of the party and keep the other ones to relay the highs and mids.
what i would really love to know, is how this speakers would sound with classical, jazz and movie soundtrack music, i'm not the one who needs nuclear bass, but i need capability to go as low as possible, like try to play Koyaanisqatsi,
710, ultimate and 1000 can go ultra deep like an hi-fi subwoofer.
But these are not home cinema speakers, they are more for listening to loud music.
I just wish there must be like partybox 510 with battery that lasts like 20hr...

Well encore has deeper but not too loud bass (mids are weak too). If encore had a larger woofer i bet it is better than ultimate

I just bought the Encore Essential and I gotta say, that unit blows me away as far as a small package that performs way, I mean WAY above its pay grade. The overall frequency response is actually BETTER than the 110 and believe it or not, the Encore Essential actually extends lower in frequency than the 110 does as well. Does it get as loud, not quite, and it does have a bit more compression and sound shaping at higher volumes than the 110 does also. If you want the best sound quality, you drive your speaker between 0-70% volume and you don’t plan on getting a noise violation, buy the Encore Essential. You want to have a banger that the police will likely show up, or you like getting kicked out of campsites, buy the 110…yes it performs that well just on its own. I also have to add, two Encore Essentials paired in Stereo are fantastic.

Encore is perfect for a bedroom or dorm room or even small apartment. It really puts out more sound than you would think.

The encore is the only partybox i wouldnt fancy. Also you can get a pb100 for 200$ so spending 300$ or 400$ on an encore or a 110 is asinine. The pb 100 is just as good as the 110.

Someone out there must be giving bad advice to people who think they need a 710 or ultimate for their home(For 99% of normal size homes)., the bass on those things are just too much their really unpleasant.,them not knowing that even the 110 or encore is plenty enough for their needs and plus they can sync a pair and have even better sound system., they see the big monster speaker and instantly think that the small ones are underpowered 😢

ORRRRR one 710 and two 310s, best of both worlds, portability and connecting all 3 gives the 710 much better midrange and a little more punchy bass

@@jbllover1993 its what i have, but when the 310s are right beside the 710 you can barely hear the 310s lol, thats why i put them on stands a little bit away from the 710, widens the sound out.
two 710s would be louder and bassier than this, but the reason i like my setup is if i want something portable i just take my 310s

So then listening to the Ultimate in comparison with the oldest Partybpx 1000, the Ultimate sounds much better in all frequencies including the highs, giving a more opened and clear sound, and even louder. So nothing to complain about the sound quality.
The real disappointment is don't have more connections like XLR.

@@HAIYANE9910 I see.. So, compression drivers can throw the highs far away better? I thought it was more about a quality thing. I notice the Partybox 1000 has a forward sound; and the Ultimate spread the sound more to the sides and forward. It seems the instruments of any music is wandering in the ambient. So I think it can fill better any place with sound, while the 1000 can throw it in far distance. Remembering, the Ultimate has higher SPL than PB1000.
