    • @reeseyme9613
      @reeseyme9613 Před 8 lety +3

      yup. that's why i bought 2 of that motor gearboxes from ebay, approx. $4.5.
      20pcs 6amp BJT, approx. $3.
      using a piece of left over acrylic, 4 recycle 10k resistors, wires & breadboard, i'm building a h-bridge directional control (speed i will stick to pwm) prototyping robot.
      maybe i wll include 2 of the interrupter that i got from a faulty printer in the future.

  • @woodywong76
    @woodywong76 Před 8 lety +5

    Just a note to those building this. If you place your battery pack as shown in this video, you won't have room to add optical sensors that track speed an motion.

      Hi there. Could you tell me what kind of optical sensors would go with those encoder wheels? Is there a specific optical sensor designed for encoders?

  • @DanMcCreary
    @DanMcCreary Před 9 lety +2

    Thanks for sharing. Nice video. However, you might find it is a lot easier of you solder the motor wires on BEFORE you assemble the kit. I also use a cable tie to keep the wires attached to the motors. Otherwise they often break off from the motors.

    • @BanggoodTV
      @BanggoodTV  Před 9 lety

      Dan McCreary that sounds a better way. i will try it later. thanks for you advice.

    has anyone ever made one of these but one that has solar panels and mini wind turbines sot that you can have a color camera, FLIR, and Night vision cameras on it and LED lights along with a GPS receiver and transmitter so you can track when its going across the country, across a desert, etc because that would be awesome to see since then you could put so many more features on it?

    • @chartle1
      @chartle1 Před 8 lety

      Atlanta Geek I've always thought the ultimate way to track motion was to use an old mouse. This way you get real direction and distance versus just how much the wheel spins.

    • @atlantageek
      @atlantageek Před 8 lety

      With a mouse though you have two things that this doesnt have
      1. a perfectly flat surface.
      2. There is a feedback loop. The human in the loop can make small adjustments.

    Ojo, el portapilas esta mal puesto, si lo colocas así tapas el espacio para poner el sensor de velocidad (optoacoplador), ademas, se deben usar tornillos de cabeza plana, de lo contrario no entraran bien las pilas.
