We don’t need too many goals per game to win the afcon. A solid or compact game plan with quick counter attack, solid midfield and defensive play we can proceed to finals BUT this team has no identity. Maybe we see it in this afcon.
Our national football strategy or program is not helping because we think blackstars is the only important brand. Youth level scouting program has been destroyed because U17 and U20 levels contain players of people in football management hence the true talents are not developed. For instance, kudus is a product of right to dream but not scouted through the high school football program like Essien , D. Boateng etc. let’s build our own programs and add foreign academies and some foreign players to have a strong pool of next generation players. For instance,Fatawu issahaku team mates at U20, most won’t get the chance again for Blackstars. Also, building an ultra modern sports facility and improving all our national pitches with our World Cup money will help to make football a serious business in 🇬🇭.
Ghana style of playing must evolve,we must stop playing that beautiful football n the short passes that style of play has way gone,now we ought to utilize set pieces,we need a top striker who can net the ball out of nothing,we are becoming the most useless team on the continent.
