  • Connecting Climate Minds is a global Wellcome Trust funded initiative to cultivate a collaborative, transdisciplinary climate change and mental health field with a clear and aligned vision. Over the last year, experts from across disciplines, sectors and countries in Oceania (Aotearoa New Zealand, Australia and Pacific Island countries) were convened to develop a Regional Research and Action Agenda. This agenda sets out 1) research priorities to understand and address the needs of people experiencing the mental health burden of the climate crisis, and 2) priorities to enable this research and translate evidence into action in policy and practice. This webinar provides an overview of the Research and Action Agenda for Oceania, along with a panel of experts who were involved in Connecting Climate Minds discussing key themes and next steps.
    Expert panel:
Dr Jo Longman, University of Sydney
