Excellent job. Always easy to tell someone who takes pride in their work. 👏
Wow, thats very nice of you to say. Really appreciated the kind words Scott.
Does its chip and flake easy
If the surface is prepared correctly and an appropriate paint system used then no it is a tough durable finish.
What was the cost of it?
That job I think about £350
In Republic of Ireland that would translate to about €1,000 job for a local upvc paint sprayer tradesman 😂
What paint brand do use for that , topcoat and primers please? Thx
We use an isocyanate free 2k system or 1k system. See hmg or cromadex.
Can you do this to Rosewood UPVC windows? if so would you just them clean prior to painting or would you lightly sand them smooth?
Yes, you can. Clean, degrease and use a light abrasive.
Do you mask or paint the rubber around the window? Could quite tell on my screen. Cheers
We generally replace them, but if not, we mask them.
Looks great! What paint did you use?
Family secret :-)
@@paintpvcif it’s family secret so why we have to watch your videos or follow you if you are not going to help us..because this is the purpose of having content and spread it 😠this is selfish behavior
My apologies I missed your message. Our video are not training videos. They are to inform customers about benefits of having windows resprayed. We believe it is not for everyone. Check out our website for details.
👍 TikTok's philosophy is to teach. This post does feel more like an ad with all due respect.

Alwats take your window and glass out . Always cover the rubber seals.
If you know how to remove the glazing you can but we don't always. Side opening windows need to be heel and toed correctly; glazing units can be damaged, etc. Basically, it is introducing too much potential risk in our opinion for every job. This is why HSE recommends RAMS and Risk assessment completed before work commences on projects to ensure you have given due consideration to all potential risk.
I'd like to paint the inside of my uPVC window frames (they're wood-effect and I want to lighten them up!). I am wondering if anyone knows if doing this would affect the re-sale value of a house? Since I assume the paint won't last forever, it'll need either touching up or worst case the windows needing replaced for no reason other than cosmetic. It's a big concern for me as we may sell our house in the future. Any advice would be great!
Great question.
The wood grain profile will also fail eventually. You might see it in the corners at the welds.
If done professionally by a reputable company it should last 10 to 15 years. Assuming the windows aren't new then they will be 20 to 25 years old which really is towards the end of their life span.
I hope this helps. Feel free to give us a call to discuss further. Details @ PaintPVC.com
I had a tiny chip on my anthracite sprayed french windows. I touched it up with AR touch up paint little bottle but it ran a little. What can I clean it up with?
Always better to build up your coats, little by little. Use a scoring pad like scotch brite to take of the excess then paint then reapply.
What is the day rate for something like this?
Depends but normally per item.
Is a 25l compressor okay to use?
50 litre smallest, 100 litre probably better. Check the cfm.
what paint company do you use is it 2k product?
We use a range of products and systems. We are always testing new products to market. But ideally a 1k or isocyanate free products.
What color is that ?
Ral 7016
Hi I having a airless sprayer and was thinking about painting my windows can you suggest anything eg tip size, which paint to use and what psi. I have a Wagner 350
We use compressor and spray gun set up. Generally a 1.6 needle or less. Couldn't give advice for sprayer set up. Regarding paint check out this page on our website paintpvc.com/best-upvc-window-frames-to-paint/
to spray a window you need a hvlp not a airless if you did you will put to much paint on window with hvlp gun you can control the air and how much paint comes out

@@paintpvc What's it with all your answers to these questions? Utterly useless! Instead of answering some simple questions from your viewers you just give non-answers. Massive dislike!
