    So there you go, as easy as that, set your exposure first, then add your ND filter, then slow down your shutter speed.

    So I played it back twice. I don't want image stabilization turned on? It will ruin my long exposure.

    Can you explain why to turn off stabilisation during long exposure?

      For sure. You need your camera to be super stable for long exposure photos, which is pretty self explanatory, but the stabilisation inside the camera will still try to make micro adjustments due to the long exposure time, even though the camera is fixed in position. These Micro adjustments will cause the image to be soft, almost out of focus when viewed later on. Hope this helps.
