Yikhum Village Tokhvu Emong 2022

Adv. R. Nzanbemo Jungio, PRO Dy. CM, Govt. of Nagaland graced the occassion as the Special Guest at the Tokhvu Emong festival held at Yikhum Village on November 7, 2022. The Murry Clan of the village were the hosts.
Earlier the Village also organized 2 days sports culminating to the celebrations on Nov. 7.
The Special Guest generously donated a huge amount of money towards the celebration and to all the participants of the day.
Tokhvu Emong is the post harvest festival of friendship, forgiveness, reconciliation, and new beginnings for the Lotha Nagas. Only after the celebrations, the Lotha Naga forefathers cleared fresh jungle for cultivation; they also prepared for marriage ceremonies only after this day every year.
