I loved the Arya stuff in the first half, but the final ten minutes of this episode were indeed incredible!
FILMBuFF I nearly had a heart attack too! I vaguely remember shouting 'Don't die don't die don't die!!!' at Jamie for like three minutes straight. I've never been so emotionally conflicted over a scene, because I didn't want Jamie to get hurt, and I didn't want the dragon to get hurt. Don't mind Danny getting an arrow though, she's doing my tits in now. Lol
So will Jamie live? What do we think?

They weren't defending from inside the city/castle, they were outside it in an open field
Dothraki looked weak as hell in this, without the dragon they would have been beaten. "Your people can't fight" lol let's see how the Dothraki do against a dragon and an army in combat. It look brave mofos to stand on that line and hold their ground even after that first blast of fire. Main point..Dothraki overrated.

for anyone confused, daenerys didnt burn all of the food stocks. Notice that Randyll Tarly says to Jamie that "we need to get the last of these wagons over the blackwater" which means it was a minimal amount destroyed.

Bitch, please. There's NO way the entire stock of food from the ENTIRE Reach fit in that tiny amount of wagons. It would take a wagon train ten times that size to take *all* the food. It's like claiming that you can fit all the food from all the farms and ranches in the United States into one cargo train. No way.

yeah when scene before she said she needed food. I call it bad writing they wanted to use drogon and it was easy to use him blowing up wagons other than cgi in people on fire.
Your face when you saw Dany riding Drogon into battle was priceless! Jamie didn't run in fear, he faced the battle head on - all I was thinking was, 'you better run Jamie, the odds don't look good'. Hope he gets his armour off and swims to the surface asap. I really didn't want the dragon injured! Makes sense for there to be a weapon/ weakness for the dragons though as they'd be extremely OP otherwise. Loved your reaction, the fact you needed to take some deep breaths at the end shows how amazing this show really is!
This was my favorite episode ever. Some people don't understand why Dani had to attack the Lannister soldiers. She has to show she is a force to be feared, and after what happened to her army there was no choice. She did not attack civilians but soldiers. I loved your reaction! It was my first time watching you and I am now a fan. Thank you 😊

Eh....I don't hate Jaime (well I don't anymore...beginning of the series I just saw him as a gross sicko who banged his twin sister and tried to murder an innocent little boy who saw him with said twin sister), but of the two, yeah, I'd rather Dany live. At least she doesn't *know* she's screwing a blood relative.

My favorite reactor never disappoints! This is in my top 3 best episodes of the series so far! Amazing episode, I felt like I was holding my breath the whole time. Not to mention, there are now characters on opposing forces who we have all come to love (well, I can't speak for everyone) and root for and they are at war against eachother! Nerve-wracking to say the least...

Great reaction, you're the only one so far that looks utterly conflicted by that battle, just as I was. As spectacular it was to witness, there is no victory here, there will be consequences. GoT at its best, the rest of the episode was brilliant too.
I talked about the possible consequences in my other comments. I was predicting that once the news of what happened in this battle reaches King's Landing and the rest of Westeros, the people of Westeros will be united in the struggle against the Targaryen invader and her foreign armies. They will line up in cities and provinces to enlist to fight in the war against the foreign invaders who killed and burnt their countrymen alive. She will have won one battle, but lost the people of Westeros. Jamie and Bronn will be hailed as the heroes who fought the dragon face to face. Of course, I am just guessing.

For me this was by far the most emotional battle ever on GOT, because as much as you wanted Dany to win, you didn't want Jaime or Bronn to die.
My thoughts through the battle:
"Holy shit! Someone kill that f***ing dragon...
No, poor dragon! Please, don't kill him :'("
I saw Dunkirk at the movies before seeing this episode. Men on the beach, exposed to enemy air attack. The terror of it. This battle brought that right back. To see something you KNEW didn't exist anymore, and not only is it there in the flesh, but it's coming to kill you. And it does.
GOT stepped it up to a new level here.

I can't choose sides. I root for Bronn and Jaime but I also root for Danny and Tyrion. People saying that Lannisters are rapist and murderers, WTF Danny's Hord are full of rapist and murderers too. Incest? well Targaryens are the most incest family in this world.
I look at this and try to FATHOM what The Dance of the Dragons was like, with the Targaryens fighting EACH OTHER. Imagine a battlefield of a dozen+ dragons, all flying and sparring and lighting everything within a mile on fire.

Ok so I know I'm gonna catch some crap for saying it, but Dany isn't IMHO a very good RULER. I think she kinda has some self acknowledged ego and entitlement issues, and they have been all in our face if we care to notice. Like her titles, omg....so yeah she's a bad ass but dayum. Then u have Jon...title...King in the North. So yeah that was a clue....
Losing the cities in Essos that she conquered and had to restore order to, slavers bay & the Harpies, her telling Varys to let her know if she was screwing up and now this bend the knee crap w Jon From the previews for Ep 5 she is seen telling the conquered to bend the knee or burn, and her looking to Jon in Ep 4 for guidance. Jon is showing the temperance for leadership in actually UNDERSTANDING the ppl he rules where she doesn't and then the preview of Tyrion and Varys saying that someone needs to talk to her.... is it just me or has anyone else noticed this? She is a conquerer, but I'm not at all convinced she is going to make a good RULER. Perhaps she will change, but so far, I'm not seeing it....
As far as I can tell, most people on the internet honestly hate Dany. I feel like she's widely misunderstood but I hope to see some development in her character. She failed at ruling so far, that's true, maybe she'll learn. Shoutout to Tywin for his "what makes a good king" speech. As for the many titles, that's just projecting power. That's what you should do when you don't have much actual power but you need to make others believe you do.
Tom Has I don't hate Dany...I actually love her, but as Martin is a master storyteller, Dany is complicated and it shows in the conflicted ideology she has. She's the Queen they CHOSE in Essos, yet she seems to have no problem forcing herself on the ppl of the Westeros. That's a mistake. Jon had the same convo w Mance if u remember about forgoing pride and bending the knee to Stannis, but Jon understands NOW why it was impossible & unnecessary. That's why he didn't demand, nor will he ever that the wildlings bend the knee. They may not call Jon Snow king but they love & follow him just the same and perhaps because his ego doesn't require being bowed to. They're his people & his friends. No knee bending needed. Dany just doesn't get that....yet......I think Jon will help her see what's right.....

I kinda don't like how people bash on Dany for burning people but they don't bash Cersei for blowing up the sept it just doesn't make sense. Cersei did it to be queen while Dany is also doing it also so there is no reason to bash Dany.

I understand why this episode was leaked. Didn't agree with it being leaked, but understand the unbelievable hype that would've brought and it did. It was so good. And bad people acted beforehand. The episode itself is better than movies in theaters.

For some reason this episode made me feel like GOT is here. The first 3 just felt so off. Either due to pacing or having lots of screen time for lesser characters like the Sand family. Also with all the Euron scenes bombardment.
