    Good info. Do you think its better to go to a highly rated, more expensive D3 private liberal arts school w/very good D3 program/amenities -vs- a lower cost state school D3 that's decent but average academically?

    • @ahadvising8
      @ahadvising8  Před 2 lety

      Depends on several factors and which ones are more important to you! If you value cost, state school, if you value a slightly better education, private

      If you go to a liberal arts college.... You already lost. Don't do it

    Is there the possibility for D3 players to get looked at and recruited to D1 teams, or are they strictly looking at younger players?

    • @ahadvising8
      @ahadvising8  Před 2 lety +1

      It’s possible, but very unlikely because you have to sit out a year if you transfer from D3 to D1.

    Would you say ACHA D1 or D3 is more competitive

    • @ahadvising8
      @ahadvising8  Před 3 lety +2

      NCAA D3 for sure. Some high end ACHA D1 teams can rival low-mid end NCAA D3 teams, but the top NCAA D3 teams would beat them more often than not.

    What about the gojhl

    • @ahadvising8
      @ahadvising8  Před 3 lety

      It’s a pretty good league. Calibre is quite solid, NCAA focus isn’t the highest, but if you’re good enough, you can usually get a decent NCAA D3 commit out of that league

      @@ahadvising8 hey thanks for the reply what about d3 players having stand out years jumping to d1 or 20 yr olds who didn’t put up much numbers in there jr career but oa year putting up a big number of points could they go d1 also ? What’s your take on that

    • @ahadvising8
      @ahadvising8  Před 3 lety

      There’s a small chance that they could squeeze in a lower end D1 program, but they’d really have to dominate in a good league their last year.
