You can definitely choose which side the shape storage is on. I think that the IKEA website has a virtual 'build your own Grönlid sofa-bed, which is useful. Good luck!
Thanks for the video! We are looking at getting the exact same combination of sections. Is the comfort when sitting on the sofa bed section the same or are any parts of the bed frame digging into you?
Hi Shazzy - glad you enjoyed the fun video! When you sit on the bed part of the sofa, the comfort is the same - you cannot feel that it is the bed section at all. We are very pleased with the whole thing! Regards, Rob
Hi. What did you do at 1:38 to 1:40? Did you exchange the hooks for bolts? It is not possible to hang up the bed-part on the corner part, right? I guess, this what I was having trouble with!
I think that I had incorrectly added hooks to the left hand end of the corner section, whereas it should just have been bolts - as you can (just) see in the video. Good luck!

Thank you it doesn’t look like u can change the L shape to the left when wanting a 3 seater. Only a 2 seater unless I’m missing something here
