When I was a freshman in high school I baked banana bread for my teachers. I hated P.E. and didn’t want to give anything to my P.E. teacher. My mom noticed a loaf was missing and called me out on it. She said, “You either give one to all of your teachers or none. When they are in the teacher lounge and talk about getting gifts, how do you think she will feel?” I grumpily made one for my P.E. Teacher, and when I gave it to her she almost cried. She said, “I’ve never gotten a gift before. Students don’t usually give us anything cause we just teach gym.” After that the teacher and I both made an effort to appreciate each other and discovered that we both liked to read mysteries. She eventually asked me, “Why do you hate gym so much?” I explained that I felt uncomfortable exercising in front of the boys hanging out on the bleachers making comments. The next semester she created a girls only class inside the small gym that was wildly popular… and it all started with a gift.
Awww that is so sweet and wholesome🥰
Awwww I love this so much
I'm legit tearing up hearing this. Thanks for sharing this story with us! 🖤💚🖤👍🏾
i wasn’t expecting this to end so positively :(( that’s so nice
Thats sweet however Mr fox reaction is very telling
I teach preschool and for teachers appreciation a parent bought all of us a bottle of wine, then said “ i know yall need this dealing with our kids” 😂😂😂 i died laughing then went home and drunk the wine.
😭 thats wild
i had parents give me weed lol
@@dianam8690 oh wow😂😂😂😂
@@dianam8690 hahaha nice- wait, what??!??!
Drank*
Why couldn't I have teachers like y'all when I was in school! You all seem like fair and actually care for your students
Yeah my teachers are all mean to all of us
Agreed.
I want them as my teachers
😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫
This is how your teachers act when they’re with their friends. 😆😆😆😆😆
I got 6 teachers like this throughout the years
I had a teacher in highschool that helped a boy get my attention and was very invested in us being together. To this day she still sends me messages on the anniversary of the day he died! If it wasn't for her I would have never given him a chance. Suicide ripped us apart but Im so glad I gave him the chance thanks to her! She is my ABSOLUTE favorite teacher!!!
My jaw dropped I'm so sorry for your loss but that turned so quickly
Mine was a Christmas gift. I had a student that I loved (a first grader) and she was so shy. I knew she was from a very poor home. When Christmas came around I gave pencils to everyone. The next day she came with a gift she had obviously wrapped herself. She waited for me to open and the joy on her face was priceless. I opened it and it was a half bottle of perfume. She very happily said, “It’s my favorite one!” Not lying, it was everything I could do to wait till she left before I cried my eyes out. One of the best gift ever. It was a total heart gift.
If that happened to me if a little kid gave me a bottle of perfume because it was their favorite that bottle could have smelled like rotten eggs and poop and I would have kept it I would have kept it that is so pure and innocent
My sister's kids are home schooled now but when the older two were in elementary school and had to give every kid in the class a valentine her middle child (we'll call them Kid) got SAVAGE in first grade. My sister has generally well behaved children who feel very strongly about things being fair, which is important here (we are a family of Hufflepuffs with Ravenclaw tendencies). There were enough kids in Kid's class to need two packs of valentine's cards that year and their parents let them choose their own without any oversight. Kid's also very independent and insisted on addressing them alone. I got a phone call on Valentine's Day from my hysterically laughing sister, who told me the story of how her most well behaved child got their first (and only) lunch detention.
Kid had gotten two different types of cards, instead of two of the same as their parent's assumed. One pack was Jurassic park because dinosaurs are awesome and they wanted to give them to awesome people. The second box was monster themed and they made a point of telling everyone who got one that they were getting it because they were a monster (most of the kids who got them were bullies who were known by the school to be bullies). Kid had taken their unused monster valentines to school so that their friends could ALSO give monster valentines to the 'monsters'. Apparently a couple of the kids cried after getting three 'monster' cards and Kid refused to apologize for hurting their feelings. The detention was for being rude (for singling out some of the children) and refusing to follow teacher instructions by refusing to apologize. Kid is now in 8th grade and is still proud of their detention.
While it is a little controversial to bully bullies, I tjink it was a great decision, a peaceful protest with attitude, if you will, regarding the monsters' nasty treatment of other students.
Melissa Young please make sure all bullies are reported to the school and the district. If you see something, say something! Please.
I teach Kinder and when the kids start with the BF/GF stuff. We shut it down by saying "you can't have a BF/GF until you have a car and a job and can take them on a hot date and pay for it" 😂
I've been binge-listening (is that a thing??) to your podcast all day I love u guys!!!!
not a teacher, but my valentine's day story is that in high school I baked a batch of pink, strawberry flavored cupcakes and stuck a heart lollipop on each of them so I could give them to all my classmates on 1st period biology the next day. I get to school and start offering them around, and no one wanted one, not a single person took a cupcake from me. I was about to skip 2nd and go cry in the bathroom (I was 16 and sensitive lol) when my biology teacher actually took his cupcake, even had a few bites and said they were delicious and I should offer some to the teachers
I hate strawberries, they make me puke, so I probably wouldn't have taken one but to literally everyone else WHY PASS UP FREE FOOD!?
Loved your story!
I made gingerbread cookies, chocolate chip cookies, apple pie, and even went on to make gluten free variations for my teachers and classmates who had a gluten allergy. Needless to say very few people ate anything I baked, it really hurt my feelings. A few of my teachers ate them and said they were amazing; some said they would not eat any because they didn’t like the flavor. When my friends found out and got to taste my sweets they all decided to take/eat 2-4 each until I didn’t have but two left for my mom and brother. To this day they continue to ask me to bake cakes, cookies, and pastries for them for birthdays or special occasions. In October I am catering to a wedding for my longtime friends. The teachers that ate my sweets made my day and helped boost my confidence in my baking abilities.
I think it mightve been the fact they were strawberry flavored and cupcakes. Cupcakes already are a bad pastry then add the fact theyre strawberry which as an icing isnt as popular as say vanilla or chocolate.
I find it so odd that they didn't take any free food.. all the schools I've been to, we were like piranas with anything we could get. Eating in class was something sacred in earlier school lol.
But highschool I was eating my lunch in class without permission because I was fucking starving & my lunch period was at a ridoculous hour.
The absolute worst thing we did in HS for Valentines Day was a Cupid match maker quiz and on Valentine’s Day you had to pay $1 to get your top 10 matches 😅😅
My school did that too! And it was like you have a 50 % match with this person. But it was only people we absolutely hated 😆. I'm convinced the teachers trolled us with that thing
Aw that's kinda cute tho
I would have loved that, sounds hilarious
I love Bri Richardson so much. The way she speaks and imitates her observations is so hilarious. She's the best!
This year I tried showing my kids a Mythbusters video where they made rocket fuel from processed Gummy Bears and Sugar. It was cute, I thought it would be a unique Valentine's Day surprise and then I found two second graders attempting to light their Valentine's Day candy on fire at Recess using another student's glasses. 🙄
omg 😂😂😂
I feel so sad for Ms Rogers. I remember being in a class of almost 40 people and it was a huge deal because we were almost twice the size of the other classes. The next year they separated our class into two.
Teachers really don’t get paid enough.
I’m going to give my ELA teacher a cookie decorated like a gnome, and it says “gnome one is better than you!”
😂 cold blooded
one of my friends got a gas station rose that was actually a thong panty - kid had no idea 😂
Tell would be an ✨AMAZING✨ middle school teacher.
I am a middle schooler and I wouldn’t torture him like that
The funny thing is that while Mrs.Rogers had a teacher named Ms.fox(or Mrs.Fox) that you hated, I had a teacher named Mrs.Fox and she was one of my favorite teachers!
Middle School drama is THE BEST as a teacher. My teacher besties and I will pop into each other’s room like “You hear the tea about girl # 2 and boy #7? 👀👀👀” 😂😂😂
I don’t ship students, I don’t encourage their relationships, and I definitely don’t facilitate “dating opportunities” (I know a teacher who did that 😬😬 Big Yikes) BUT best believe I’m INVESTED in the drama like it’s a Netflix show 😂😂
YASS rebecca!! I also graduated in 2014!💯💯 we the same age haha. I loved Justin Bieber in HS. Lol. He was real popular. Haha. Valentines day in high school was always so weird bc im gay and it was really centered around straight kids :/ but ah well i got the bestest girl now ❤❤💯💯
There's nothing wrong with kids having a favorite teacher. My kindergarten teacher was my favorite teacher and she was the only teacher my parents and I have gotten gifts and holiday cards for yearly. I'm 26 for reference!
The only school Valentine’s day I remember was when I got off the bus, carried my cards in to my 1st grade teacher and said “Ms. Smith I don’t feel good -“ and threw up on her. 😭 I feel so bad to this day.
I'm closer in age to Mrs. Rogers than I realized XD Looking up to you like a teacher figure you are and in reality we're only a year or two apart in age (graduated 2015). So weird. Had the same kind of experience with my soul sister when she was helping me get into writing groups, saw her as a mentor until we realized she is younger than me and now we're close like sisters.
In my school we had a teacher who was married to the sports director and on your senior class trip to the beach that was souround by woods and she hooked up with one of the other teachers that went along on the trip. He worked at the school too.
Dude. I remember Valentine’s Day in 7th grade. I had just been dating this girl for 2 months and things were getting more “serious”. I we had our first kiss with eachother at New Years at our favorite bands’ concert as the confetti and balloons rained down. But like on Valentine’s Day, I saved up some money and got her like a $300 necklace as we skipped school and we were sitting in the baseball dugout to watch the sunset and I took her to her favorite restaurant after. We dated for like another year and a half and then she cheated on me with my friend and did drugs. She’s dead to me
I’m not a teacher or anything, I’m just a guy who runs a little business and I absolutely love this podcast! I just wish they did it more often so I could hangout with y’all more😭
I paid one of my friends to send me a flower because I wanted one and didn’t think anyone would send one. 🤦🏼♂️ I ended up with three 😂😂😂
I wish I had teachers like you guys when I was in school! I didn’t have very good experience with my teachers.
When you guys were talking about middle school relationships, all I could think about was my third grade teacher married her 6th grade crush.
I’m late to the party but me and my husband dated from 7th-9th grade. Broke up because he left to another school district. (Still kept in touch over social media) and then after we both graduated we got back together got married have a beautiful daughter and our son on the way right now.
For my pre-k students I would ask the parents to write To: My Friend from your buddy Chad. It was easy and simpler. I do this for my son too because I was not going to write every kid’s name.
When I was in 5th grade, for Valentine's Day me and my best friend collaborated on a gift for our teacher. We bought a little basket, a small stuffed tiger, a few of her favorite candy, a bag of her favorite chips, and we hand-made a card for her and I think that was the happiest we ever saw that teacher.
Also, this year for the last day of school I drew (and painted) flowers for all of my teachers, and my favorite teacher this last year hung it up on her wall right behind her and when she was packing up her room she had me take a picture with her and the painting and I will always remember her as one of my favorite teachers I've ever had
My parents met at a dance. My mom asked my dad to dance, and he said no😂 She made him dance with her anyway 🤣🤣🤣
I met my partner when I was in 7th grade and he was in 5th, we were on the same baseball team. He was actually homeschooled so we never hung out in school or anything but we were always good friends. Anyway when we were in 12th/10th, my best friend started dating his best friend, another teammate and then we got together for the first time when I was home from college the next summer. It took 3 more years for us to actually start dating and we're still together 😅 so yeah, sometimes you stay with people you meet in 7th grade
When you started discussing your graduation dates, i was not ready for what I heard....I feel so old now so thanks for that
🤣🤣
I teach 3-5 year olds at a daycare and I had to separate two kids at the carpet because they kept trying to kiss each other!
I worked at a school and within the first month i had dated every female teacher according to the students.
When I was a senior in high school one teacher and a student teacher, met at my high school and have been married for close to 30 years now.
i misread this as you married the teacher after meeting them when you were a senior in high school. the RELIEF i felt when i reread it and it was a cute story and not a call the police story lmao. that’s really sweet good for them
Current favorite channel at the moment, love everyone’s solo content too! It’s funny because I am not a teacher nor student at the moment-college gap year due to the pandemic 😷 But hearing you guys talk about the real lives of teachers plus the hilarity of your students for some reason feels so nostalgic and also maybe inspiring?? Like, do I subconsciously wanna teach??
But yeah you guys are great, please keep up the podcast it cracks me up :))
As a middle school employee, this was way to relatable. The drama is real
I had a student find out that her boyfriend told his female best friend “happy Valentine’s Day, I love you” as the bell was ringing for first period. So she storms down the hall, and I was like come back it’s okay we’ll talk cause I thought she was going to cry but she turns, bright red face and goes “no I’m going to break up him right now! No one does that to me! ”
My bestie and I held back laugher and pride and got her back in my class so she didn’t storm into his first period and like slap him across the face. Girl did not play. I got his side later that day, and read the texts she sent him. It was so spicy. Perks of being the teach everyone asks for advice.
In 4th/5th grade, I would make my teachers stained glass lol. Kinda a weird gift but most liked it
I love singing valentines! They were so fun to receive, give, and sing! We sang a bit more classics like “can’t help falling in love” and some friend songs like “lean on me”.
My first 4 months at my school I heard rumors about myself and 4 of my coworkers, two of them married!!
In fairness to my students, I did end up dating one of my coworkers and we're now married.
I ALWAYS give the preschool teachers wine. ALWAYS.
I have learned that teachers love the tea🤣
I taught 2nd grade for 14 years. Every year I had my students write a compliments sentence to each student in the classroom as their Valentine Day card. I made it due on Feb. 10th so I had time to grade them for grammar, spelling and handwriting. I would always tear up when reading the compliments. I also wrote them to my students. One year I had a little girl that was so mean to everyone. It was hard to think of something nice to say about her, so I wrote "Your hair looks so pretty when you wear it in a ponytail." Most of the time she never combed her hair. Do you know she came to school with her hair in a ponytail everyday for the rest of the school year. She recently graduated from high school and came to our Senior Reunion and thanked me for being her teacher.
I remember i got my 4th grade teacher mrs Reeves, some flowers for teacher appreciation, and i remember i was like a freshman in highschool, and she still had the flowers in her window sil❤️❤️
Are you a giraffe or a bird lol 😂 that needs to be a shirt - ostriches new quote
I used to do volunteer work at a zoo and came face to face with an ostrich once. Luckily, this was a very friendly, people-oriented ostrich that had been hand raised and was just really curious and wanting to meet all the people. Plus there was a gate between us. She "bit" my fingers holding the gate closed and my hat brim but not like actual bites. Like the equivalent of a little kid just sorta touching you to check you out, just they only have their beak to do it with. Gentler, actually. This particular ostrich is notorious for wanting to come meet all the people lmao.
Literally I love watching these! Yall are awesome and great teachers!
when I was a junior in high school,we had the singing for the choir ,but people could do custom songs and i did push it to my gay friend...she laughed while everyone else look so confused at her table. it was anonymous
You all crack me up! Thank you so much for your awesome content!!!
Coming up on Christmas 2020 the special ed class I was a para in had been talking about December holidays around the world and across cultures. All the kids in my class (six total) celebrated Christmas, so one of the projects we made was a Christmas tree. The last day before winter break I surprised them all, some of whom came from difficult backgrounds, with wrapped gifts under the tree. Fast forward a few months, one of the kids made little candy bags for all of the teachers and paras in the classroom, and she was amazed when I almost cried. My students were some of the sweetest kids ever, and despite so much they were some of the most thoughtful people.
Our singing valentines were like that to where they would pop up in your classroom and bring you a rose and a chocolate and a little card and sing for you. And they always wore formalwear for the guys and the girls were dresses it was super cool! I graduated high school in 98
The singing Valentine sounds like my worst nightmare. I have terrible social anxiety and a very intense fear of people singing and dancing at me😂😂
I had some teachers who were not emotionally mature (not many but a few) and they would have been salty if I gave a present to other teachers and not them. So I would either give a gift to every teacher, One or two IF your kid has lots of teachers and really wants to get them something, or none.
My first middle school valentines day gift was a love letter written by my crush at the time. I had known him from 4th grade to 7th and he gave it to me in 6th grade. I remember when he came to my locker he was blushing so hard lol. He was a little ginger boy and was so shy. I remember that he used to like legos and science. lol a true sweetheart.
See I wish I had teachers like you guys, I never had a connection with my teachers(they never seemed to care really except for maybe 2 of them) so I always felt left out and alone in a room of full people. Y’all seem dope asf( I’m from Boiling Springs SC).. i feel home girls pain I was never a valentine either(still haven’t been one but I’ve had girlfriends). I love getting to see y’all be comfortable and see how teachers are off duty cause you forget they have lives too at times but I love the charisma cause it gives a little bit of light to my dark days I have a lot
Last year I gave my religion teacher who is a sport teacher a homemade keychain and she loved it so much and she still uses it and makes an effort to come up to me each week and now she leaving my school in a week and I was one of the first people she told which made me feel special and she made I very clear that the keychain was the first gift she had ever gotten and it made me feel so warm inside
I love that **Honest Teacher** watches all the same stuff I do so I get all the references, honestly love u girl! (Love all u guys, but she special)
I got towels from one of my students this year. 😆 🤣
Back in 1st grade I gave all my teachers roses and cards.
As far as valentines day cards for kids. I always have my kids put "To: You From: Bonny" so they don't have to know all the names in their class and hand them out easily! Lol. Tip!!
Before graduation I gave my all time fav teacher (english) a lil calendar with book quotes, she looooved it and I was so excited to give her smth that she could use everyday but doesn't last forever to collect dust :) I also gave a candle to my counselor before graduation. I never gave gifts to my teachers in HS except that
lmao awkward gifts in middle school same - this boy wrapped it in his shirt and it was a used puzzle. xD
19:05 omg this scene literally triggered a memory of Elementary school (6th grade, 6th GRADE) when I tried to befriend a group of outsider/popular girls and, one time, I was fortunate to be placed in a group with them in our classroom seating chart. However, the group of friends of 6, and with me, had one of them out of the group to another one (a group of boys). A few weeks passed, I didn't get any closer to them until one day I was handed a note (So-so likes you) and being a chubby person, I had the stigma that fat people are never liked, so I was not only shy, I was timid, nervous around this person because supposedly, the boy who is extroverted, most-liked, liked me. So this "group" of friends suddenly being my "BFF's" pressured me to say yes to being his girlfriend...I said yes.
The girls were so excited that I got my hopes up that I would finally be friends, but after recess, I noticed all of them getting more giddy and giggly in front of me, and instantly I felt suspicious. During class, while we were working on an assignment, one of them (the social one) approached the teacher and they were talking until she stood up, announced my relationship....and moved ME....with the girl in the boys' group. I was silent, I was red, and I wanted to cry.
They had tricked me into saying yes to this boy so that the group of 6 can be back together.
I lost trust on everyone, I stayed by myself until I rekindled a friendship with my now 13 year best friend, and I distrusted my teacher. I broke up with the boy the next day and stood in my seat silently as I do my work.
That was the biggest "f-ck you" if I had ever seen one in a 6th grade class.
Im not against a teacher shipping students (I can agree it is creepy), but...the trauma thay can inflict on a student can be so detrimental.
If that was the case, that "friend" shouldn't be the one to 1) announce the relationship to the teacher, 2) teacher should have asked the couple if they wanted to sit together or not, 3) just have the student respect the seating chart. I'm pretty sure the teacher was in on it as well because what kind of teacher would just do that?...
(P.s. i still dont trust people, going as far as FBI-ing the shit on anyone who wants a relationship with me, so yeah...it sticks ladies and gentlemen and my nonbinary people).
I remember my 5th grade class did that but over the announcements and one kid dedicated the "Thong Song" to his gf and we all were like wtf when they played it over the PA system 🤣🤣
And Tell you want to Tutor middle school. I would never teach but tutoring them was a blast.
And I would tell my kids to bring me the candy or the box of cards, I would put them together and do it while they took their nap. You can take that candy crap home with your mama lol.
Seventh grade in my school, you could buy a rose and have it placed on the homeroom desk of any student you wanted. I was the only kid without a rose in the whole class and I felt heartbroken inside. Went to my next class (a tech one), and my crush at the time came by and gave me a big heart shaped cookie that said "Be Mine" and invited me to go get hot chocolate with him the next day because he knew I didn't drink coffee. Still the best valentines ever.
Banana boat from Smoothie is absolutely love
I live in NYC and the DOE (Dept of Ed) will not let us give teachers anything over $5. The only other option is for the parents to buy a gift together...a lot of Starbucks gift cards. Such a bummer
I will accept a gift card! Starbucks gets expensive
I had a teacher in middle school that I detested. She made my life miserable and pointedly took me out of a classroom party because of some petty disagreement I had with a couple of classmates. I purposely ignored her because of that, turns out she was pregnant during the entire semester. We kind of had a laugh about it...years later when I saw her again. Shout out to Ms. N!
Ok off topic but I LOVE your podcast videos!
I’m a caregiver for an age regressor and my little boy LOVES the podcast! It gives him something to do and gives me a chance to get his snacks ready & do my work-
Keep it up y’all, you all are AMAZING
Eww...
You feel the need to mention this? Is this like a subtle brag in your fucked up world?
I clean up a grown mans shitty diaper for a living...
I’m hoping you get paid
Ohhh... buying your Valentine a rose. That was me during my sophomore year of high school. I was too scared to sign my name to the card, but it was a moot point because she was out that day having emergency dental surgery 😥
When she said Raleigh I was like u live in Raleigh sameeeeeee. Nc state Wolfpack
In high school my freshman year, one teacher shipped me and this one guy. Me and this guy were Acquaintances. The teacher would drop hints or do pair us up for something. I will always remember this one time. We were discussing something in class and he comes over to me. He says “ do you like (guys name)? “. The whole class looked at me including the guy that was sitting right next to me. Everyone was waiting for me to answer. I was a shy kid my freshman year so I said “ no I don’t. I have a boyfriend.” I didn't have a boyfriend I just wanted the attention off of me. Funny enough 11th-grade year comes around we have one class together. We became close friends that year. He would flirt with me so much. He made it very aware to me that he liked me. He asked me out on my birthday. We are still together to this day and see each other as the one. He told me after we were together that he knew I was the one for him since 8th grade (the first time he saw me). He liked me for 4 years.
Hi, student here, there are two kids in my class that have been together since literally third grade, and the few times they were in the same class the teachers ALWAYS put them together in projects and stuff and they (the students) would always laugh like 'they really think they did sumn huh???' and it was hilarioussss
I’ve been bingeing all the episodes
Compared to other CZcams channels this one is so quiet! Maybe it’s just me 😆 Love you guys though.
I love honestteachervibes. She’s awesome
I’m from Wisconsin and for AP Euro we had a field trip to Chicago for the Field Museum and the art museum. After the museum tour there was a period of free time and we were literally told we could do whatever we just couldn’t leave the street the museum was on (but could go in any shops/buildings on that street), had to stay in groups of at least 2, and had to be back for the bus on time. My friends and I found a really pretty church with stained glass windows that we explored, but I remember the whole time feeling like we should not be let loose on a busy street in Chicago without supervision. Most of us had cellphones and we were 15-16 year olds in an AP class so I get why the teacher felt comfortable trusting us but I genuinely don’t know if the school knew or would approve.
Also, on the way home one of the boys in the class really liked White Castle but there aren’t any where we lived and he knew we were going to drive past one. He somehow convinced the teacher to have the bus stop at the White Castle so he could buy a box of 12 burgers. The bus smelled awful the rest of the way home and I don’t think I could ever eat a White Castle burger.
Speaking of teachers shipping students. One of my 'teachers' had a board in his office where students could write on the board, someone wrote 'mr.___ ships students' on it
Every February I open a little store the kids can buy gifts for other students. On Valentine's day I deliver all the gifts 🎁 and make sure every student gets something. All the money I make goes to providing Teacher snack for the year. I'm a school secretary for a small school.
Crazy field trip story. I was in middle school, about 8th grade when we went to our nearest 4-H park to learn about farm animals and plants. We were learning about growing plants when a student started screaming and cussing out one of the elderly teachers. The student began to get physical on the teacher and other students so the one male teacher tried to restrain him. He broke free and tried to fake a seizure, then proceeded to run away and ran around the whole park. Our field trip ended early and the police had to come.
I want to have u guys for all of my classes next year
When I was in 4th grade I handmade oragami birds for my class Valentine's. The boys that me and my two best friends liked all for special Valentine's because I made theirs out of white paper instead of lined paper. Looking back, I realize that singling out three boys was a little strange, but my friend's crushes were important to me, lol.
The way that can catch what ever ball is thrown from each other!!!!! like they feed soooooo good off each other THANK U TIKTOK 😂😂
My mom always had me and my three siblings make gum ball dispensers for all of our teachers
I know it's not Valentines Day but yall made me think of it.
When I was in the 5th grade our school started a mail system and us kids could send mail back and forth. It was really cool cause it taught us how to properly address a letter, all the halls had street names and the classrooms numbers.
So very early on they noticed I sent and received more mail than any other student and they made me Post Master General and would have me dress up in this little mail man costume on the morning announcements.
Apparently they never checked the mail cause I was cutting out pictures from my Dads dirty magazines I found and selling them. 1$ for a small picture, 5$ for a large, and 8$ for a full page.
At the end of every day I'd spend all the money buying kids otw home ice-cream from the ice-cream man.....
I'm 40 now and it blows my mind I never got caught. I have to assume they didn't check cause they were worried it technically was tampering with the mail of they checked?? I don't know but it still cracks me up anytime I think of it.
🤦♂️🤷♂️
Mr williams has the same level of anxiety as me lmao. We are both just little ferocious Chihuahuas. Lmao
My 5th grade teacher taught my grade when we were in 1st and 2nd grade, then moved up to 5th grade when we were there, and she asked my friend “do 5th graders date”
My first boyfriend was in 5th grade 😂
I don’t get kids together myself but if a kid expresses they like someone I might work a little seating chart magic. Also for students who need to get across the room from their exes
Hi, I love your podcast! Tho I have to say, being from the Columbus, OH area, we got the Smoothie King. I highly recommend the Caribbean Way, so good!
I’m in Ohio (cincinnati) and we for sure have smoothie king! It’s awesome! A bit expensive but whenever I get it, I get it as a whole meal. They’re filling
There’s fights at my school every week so I just like to sit back and watch all go down got my snacks and laughing at all of them
Naw i remember when in 6th grade a boy and a girl were “sooo in love” and even though they thought no one knew we did and at the time we were learning odes and my teacher is explaining how the tone is romantic and the girl says “ewwwww” and thrn my teacher in the best tone possible says gurl please and every single one of us burst into laughter 😂😂
My school did singing Valentine's and they had like 4 songs you could pick from and you had to know what class your crush or SO was in 3rd period. I remember one of the songs was 'Everytime We Touch' by CASCADA and the group performing it was 2 girls and a guy who started beatboxing 😂
My 4th grade “boyfriend”, D, got me a flower ring and his best friend, J, ran up and told me that it was only $10 and from Walmart… his best friend was my ex-boyfriend 🤣🤣🤣 I still have it, it’s such a sweet/funny memory. The only reason we started dating was to make my ex jealous and then we ended up liking each other and actually “dating.” THEN D dumped me the day before Valentine’s for a girl who bullied me 🥹 SO I got back together with my ex, J, and gave him the Valentines gift that I bought for his best friend. I had such a thrilling love life in elementary school, it all went down hill from there…
Crushing on tell as usual
I know I’m late to this but. Ok but like I’m going to 6th next week but last year I had a teacher who yelled at me for smiling and would yell at me in front of EVERYBODY for no reason I wish and hope that I get teachers like you❤️

Love it. Bri, I'm class of 07 too!!
