Growing up in the 90’s brandy was that chick and she worked her ass off with tv shows, movies and music.
Brandy doesn't have to hide her accomplishments to make another artist feel anything. Brandy has contributed to so much in entertainment. Prime time t.v, Broadway, Covergirl, she was a barbie doll, she was the first Black Cinderella, she voiced one of the Sirens in Disney's Hercules, and she got snubbed on Dancing with the Stars 😒. She capitalized on so many opportunities to represent Black girls in a positive way and I will always respect her for that.

I Feel So Bless To have grew up in that Era and to Witness the Boy is mine era, Moesha era , Thea era and to see Brandy and Monica on All the Award shows , Remembering how me and my friends would eagerly wait for them to Drop they're albums. Then Watchin them on Soul Train , The soul train awards, Bet Planet soul ,106 & Park, Music Countdown. Seeing Aaliyah as well shoot to mega stardom. Seeing it on live tv and recording stuff on vhs. Watching it on CZcams is a blessing to those who weren't born yet or old enough to understand. Going to the record stores buying those CDs

Brandy's voice is underrated, in my opinion. People think that if you're not singing like Whitney Houston or running all over the place like Monica, that you're not really singing. Monica has a good voice, but she yodels and runs and sings too hard ALL OF THE TIME. She doesn't know when to soften her sound.
