A lot of young guys cannot recover from the bad starts to their careers and lose confidence. Some never get another chance. We see it everywhere every year. If we draft a QB, don't rush it. Let them develop. If not, let's see what we have with AOC. The Raiders are building a strong team, we do not need to sell the future in hopes of finding a QB that may or may not succeed.

As Hondo mentioned recently, AOC started with McDaniels orders to stay in the pocket always, then JJ was hurt, O-line had some issues, new OC, he was told to trust the defense and not make mistakes. Despite all of that, he made a bunch of plays. Give him a game plan that plays into his strengths, a better O-line and then we can decide if he is a legit starter. Give the kid a chance. Stupid to trade up for a QB that might be better but might be a bust

Keep that same energy mid season when our 32nd ranked offense has us out of the playoff picture despite an effective defense. This isn't 1988 NFL football. You don't see many 3-0 victories anymore because most teams who have a WR such as Devontae Adams score something. They score something because they have a qb I'm not so high on our big win over KC that it falls on deaf ears Aiden couldn't complete a PASS in the final 3 quarters. Every pick is an unknown. You can stay at 13 get what’s there and it still not work out . This franchise has had a lot of 1st and 2nd round picks the last few yrs and nothing to show for it . Are we forgetting that AOC was a rookie thrown into a dumpster fire of a season? Including that KC game, he had 853 yds 8 tds and 0 ints that last 4 games. The 2000/2001 Ravens were beasts with a kickass D and a mediocre Trent Dilfer as QB. I’m not saying AOC is the answer but I’m interested to see how an off-season and full training camp will help his game improve. He was trending in the right direction.

2024 you stack the roster build the OLine and roll with AOC and Minshew as QB2. If you have to trade the farm in 2025 for a Stud QB then at least he's the final piece and not the starting point/rebuild.
