    See how the story of this 1996 GT Dyno pro comp continues on, from scrap heap challenge to shining show piece - in this video I work through a few finishing touches, put the bike back together & have My lads take it on short test ride (pandemic kinda stunted that bit)
    Also, top secret look at another barn find 90s project in the pipeline!

    Nice build. Bought the same frame and forks off of craigslist for like 50 bucks, 10 years ago. Then I found a 1998 Gt Dyno Nitro in the trash last week. All original GT parts. Currently making it into a sweet build. I dont care thats its not all original parts. I just enjoy that it's time period correct.

    I never liked that mag wheel design. The Tomahawk mag was the best looking mag wheel ever made. If it's not a 36 /48 H, it's gotta be the Tomahawk wheelset on a GT or Dyno🤨👍!

    • @rgw1380rw
      @rgw1380rw Před 4 lety

      That would be based on someone else's opinion. Many still ride the good old 20/21" frames they grew up riding. My 21" is just fine for me. I've purchased a few of the bigger framed MTB's and Fixie bikes since my run in with Police in 2000/2001, and found no enjoyment in riding them. That Dyno Air I had was a chromed out work of art 😍👍! I'm an 80's baby that comes from the era of the trippy looking Freestyle/Flatland styled bikes.

      My Raleigh burners & GTs back in the 90s would nearly always break, whether it be the mags folding or stems snapping (& nearly gutting us, true story) to frames breaking at the steerer tube & having us faceplant the dirt jumps... things have thankfully improved!
