Yeah that's one of the most well hidden secret in this game: sometimes in Van Horn spawns a NPC that DOES NOT want to start a fight.
Because it's bugged
Never, someone is always looking for smoke over there. LOL
Once went to Van Horn and started a fight with an NPC by simply existing. No gun drawn. No antagonizing remarks. Didn’t bump into him. No crime committed. No bounty. Just got off my horse and was walking to the gun shop. Random NPC cussed at me and just started blasting lol I’m like “dafuuuuq?!”
Everyones always asking where is Princess Isabeau. But no one is asking how the Princess of Luxembourg ended up in the shithole of Van Horn. 😔
BRO IVE THOUGHT OF THAT FOR SO LONG. Its like if nowadays Prince Henry said “Ima go to Parkway Gardens”
Or if princess diana went to Cabrini green in the 90s

5:32 I remember when the game was new and everyone was trying to find the missing princess and all the theories around it.
I remember always hearing Rockstar said she is in the game and can be found in the game. I would love to know how that mission where you found her would have ended. She has the same marking on her face as the time traveler.

I remember on my first playtrough in 2018 I sat on a camp in Roanoke and this mexican hunter was telling me that he was out here looking for the missing princess and that she may be around these parts.
Related or not, I can't say, but did you notice the black Americana doll on IKZ's trunk? I've found only one other in the game.
Back in the day I had quite the theory about IKZ but it was all cut short by Rockstar's comments that IKZ was cut from the game.
@user-vt4hd8hb4v they should just add in the mission in a future update. A rockstar dev definitely forgot to remove the wanted poster from the game and was probably fired for it lmao

My one and only complaint about RDR2 is trying to find the Princess. There just seems to be so much evidence there that you can find her and yet nothing ever becomes of it.
Unfortunately, she's deleted content, we all searched high n low for her, but all we can see is her code in the game files. Rockstar needs to cave and just give us the damn mission already in a future update.
You can actually find her, but you have to be paying attention to notice. She's easy to miss, especially if you haven't picked up the poster and aren't aware of her significance. She's actually living in Saint Denis, and can be seen at the party at the Mayors mansion. She can also be spotted at the cemetery during a side mission. Strange Man did a video about it and how to ensure she appears.

A couple of things to add to that list then:
- ending support for the online
- John slapped onto Arthur's skeleton
- cut corners in New Austin, an abandoned slightly built Mexico, and most of the cut content really
Otherwise still one of the best games ever made
Just think of all the cool stuff and encounters you found spending extra time searching the map for her 🤔
Think you missed a big one: The river monster is still in the game - kind of. Right in front of the fence there's a dog that always barking in the direction of the river. If you stand there you can hear sounds that are very similar to what the other river monster sounds sounded like.
So the dog's either a remnant of this cut feature, or more likely, a nod to it from a R* dev.
Always thought it’d be cool to be riding along the water at night and randomly hear the river monster audio.

I love Van Horn! One of my fav spots! It's a small town, yet it packs so much mystery. It's a charming place. I can spend hours there. Walkin around, fishing at the docks, hangin out at the lighthouse, listenin to the foghorn, watching ships float by. I'm a sucker for seaside towns & nautical themes 💙

Van horn surprisingly has a nice charm to it despite all the bad things
They need to release an uncut RDR 2 with everything in it. I know it won’t happen, but damn that’d be great
Finally, after 4 years you made a video on van horne, so many mysteries on this town
The princess got turned into the dog at the fence. End of story.
My theory is that Princess Isabeau was taken by the Murfree Brood...IF they existed in 1884.
Though how the Fence got her things if she went missing at the age of 5 is peculiar. Did she, as a 5 year old child, go into the fence and demand payment? Obviously not.
So my theory is that she was taken by the Murfree Brood, conditioned to be like them (hence the Fence's remark about her not being right), and she sold her old possessions to him for whatever reason.
Maybe that's also why we're supposed to bring her to the Sheriff's because A.) Her family and friends were most likely slaughtered back then and she has no immediate family to help her, as well as being a missing person or B.) She could be dangerous if she was assimilated to the ways of the Brood.
Or she probably time traveled or something considering she is kifflom member just like Francis Sinclair.
her different way of speaking is due to her aristocratic royal upbringing.

IKZ one of my favorite mysteries in the game. Always felt like there has to be more to it than that. I swear there’s going to be one huge missing Easter egg found in this game before it’s all over with

I wonder if the naming of Van Horn by Rockstars was an inside reference to Daryl Van Horne in the Witches of Eastwick who was actually the devil. Much like naming Valentine was a reference to Loveland, Colorado

God I love your videos, mate. I actually enjoy them more than playing the game itself. RDR2 is a fine game but some of us don't have the patience to sift through the huge in-game world in order to find all the little amazing details that were included by the developers. Having a channel like this makes it so I can enjoy them in a relaxing, compact format.

At first I thought it was ship horns but nah, i think it's a foghorn coming from the lighthouse.
In Michael's Crichton book, Dragon Teeth, in the end act there is a description of a town, I only could see Van Horn in it, is totally like it.

I remember the first time I was in Van Horn. I was over by the house at the Northern end of town and a racoon bit me.

Hey I just got to the epilogue , kind of new to the game but when you save Uncle from the Skinners I noticed a line from uncle when you get back from the Skinner attack bad saving him “I’m a survivor “ same thing Micah said when Arthur died and at this point Micah is alive but we still have yet to get to the mission and Uncle still alive so Micah but I’m pre sure we still have to kill Micah at this point
