Hello, I discovered your channel some months ago... it's amazing! My first version of Photoshop was 2.5, back in 1993, I still have it in the original box with 1,44Mb discs... The idea for a brush with your signature is something I'm using now for a long time. I sign my pictures with a white signature and maybe a nice tip for everyone: I change the opacity to 7% and put the signature in the most important parts of an image when I publish it on Facebook or other platforms where you like copyright protection. The signature is there but you don't see it ;-)
pretty sure you can just unlock layer, double click on the layer to make the layer effects thingy appear, slide the white scale slider left alt+click to adjust the smoothness, accept the changes, convert to smart object and rasterize layer. i used to do this to duplicate clients signature on their request when they cant make an appointment to sign the the doc and the deadline is deadly close.

Just open signature, use magic background eraser tool to remove white part. Then use levels to darken the signature.

you can convert the color from black to white just by using ctrl+shift+i to invert it.
