One of Chevy’s best pressers! Thanks a lot @Illegal Curve Hockey 👍
Fans of the JETS, all the way!!!!
Chevy’s contract was just extended and that was why he looked so happy.
True leader I'm jets fan for ever go jets go🎉
Alot of fans would have you trade everyone who was a minus in this series , i for one would like to see the bulk of this team return , that being said there will be changes that hopefully help put us over the top , out of the first round again . I am concinced that Chevy will address those needs in the off season, we are lucky to have him as a gm , Go Jets Go ✈️✈️✈️
Difference between trading players who were a minus and trading players who have shown no interest in playing with heart and lacking work ethic in the playoffs of all times, these teams with soft top 6 players aren't winning cups and that is the goal. Pionk, Schmidt should be gone, Ehlers should be packaged for a good two way RD
@@FreshKozy I don't disagree
@@FreshKozyamen. Not sure on who should go but the heart and desire to sacrifice to win just isn’t there from enough guys.
I don't know that you really shake the tree much to get this team to grow that extra little bit. I think that'll come from experience and disappointment, the "scars" or callouses that form through these tough postseason series. But coming back together stronger by 5-10% also means keeping as many of the pieces together as we can. There's no doubt this is a special team, but growing into a team that can flex through the postseason means the lessons can only be learned by the pieces that stick around.
Toffoli came in to replace Perfetti who helped the team all year, how does Perfetti feel about how the Jets organization treated him?
He said it. You need guys that want to be champions. I don’t think we have enough guys willing to do what it takes to be champions.
Not even mad at Chevy, this is all on the players!!
The GM seems pretty upbeat.👍
4th over all is a hella good season! (no pun intended)
This series could of been a battle for the Western Conference but instead two great teams had to face off in the 1st round. It's just the way it is, the Central division is a tough neighborhood.
Can we find a way to acquire a couple of elite players? Many of the ones we have are good, but not yet superstars.
Was Toffoli for a 2nd round pick in 2025 and a 3rd round pick in 2024 worth it? Who can we get to clear the front of the net so our goalie can see the puck?
Your team is garbage and the organization is garbage. Get a hold of your life and become something that isn't a stooge for corporatism at it's absolute worst. Become a real person.
How long is going to take to win a Stanley cup?
16 games
In terms of how many seasons it will take for the Jets to even appear in a Stanley Cup final, I honestly dunno. Yet Chevy has been GM longer than GMs of most NHL teams have been with their current teams, with such limited playoff success aside from a 2018 conference final appearance. I have to wonder at what point enough will be enough and he'll be gone. This season was the 6th straight without a Jets conference final appearance and the 3rd straight without the win of a playoff series.
I would telll Ehlers if he would learn more about capitalizing more on all the chances he creates perhaps learn to deke more not just shoot wildly like he constantly does!
Chevy could have 6 margaritas and still defend better than pionk
dude you cant blame that on him imo. the buck deflected of schlieffe first then hit pionks stick he had no time to react, was unlucky not a dumb move in his part
@@igamehard8860 but pionk was shit the whole series we need him gone
@@igamehard8860 It's not just that goal, Pionk is absolute trash defenceman, 6m dollars for a guy who really should be in the AHL. He has to go.
@@SherLock55I understand the frustration and maybe $6 mil is too much but he’s close to being first PP talent. He’s already done it. He near the worst player for the Jets this series imo. Honestly Ehlers, Neiderreiter, Appleton, Schmidt were all not good enough. Squeezing the stick, not competitive on the boards, lack of intensity, perimeter play. I think most of these guys are capable skill wise but prob not playoff type players that play hard with heart. It’s hard to say what’s the right thing to do when the room seems really good rn
@igamehard8860 Very odd that you think that comment was specifically to do with a single deflection, rather than his play in general over time.
BACKEND blueline changes need to be made. Dmen are too small and slow. They got hemmed in the zone and AVS manhandled them. Unfortunately Toffoli and LB are gone next season. BAD CALL they should've put in LB in game 5 to see if it would spark the Jets. Don't forget, LB outperformed Helly last year.
It’s too bad the City Of Winnipeg and Scott gillingham cant fix the the Downtown. It’s infuriating really.
Make it more appealing/safer for people to travel into the downtown.
We should start a take back our street movement how are we allowing alcoholics and drug dealers take them move them to drug and alcohol facilities get them the help they need the worst thing the city can do is open up portage and main it will become a real shit show
I find it hard to believe that ownership hasn’t said adios to Chevy. He’s had more than enough time to prove himself and it’s a dismal failure. How are ticket sales going to go with this same old recycle again next year. I’m sick of him
Absolutely one of the better GMA in the league. Ask around the league to learn this.
Lots of the Jets are too small and not intimidating enough for the playoffs. Ehlers, Connor, Morrissey, Demelo, Pionk, Sheiffle, Monahan, Tofoli...all too small and made of glass.
The Avs aren't a big intimidating team.
as he laughs lol.. hockey what a joke
Whilst they laugh their ways to the bank and go on their fancy vacays after convincing everyone w'ere all in, obviously marketing is, but the team is far from being a cup contender based on the current roster and coaching staff.
Chevy, stop smiling. Your team is falling apart. This was very disappointing, for the team, and fans.
Jets need a new GM
Jets fan here, if you can't see it , PIONK SUCKS !! Logan Stanley is a joke ! I don't care how hard they are trying, a fish can't fly. and an AHL player belongs there. !Our defense needs some BIG help. Get rid of Kyle Conner as well, great sniper, shitty corner man, too small.
Getting rid of Connor is a terrible idea 😂. But yes defense needs work. Stanley needs to go. And pionk and Schmidt. That’s almost 12 million dollars there that could be used better
@@Tangerine_6924
I agree on Pionk and Stanley, Schmidt not so much.
I agree about Pionk and Stanley. Connor’s defensive play in game 5 impressed me. He still has potential to become a great player.
Second line should’ve been Toffoli, Perfetti, Monaghan
You were horrible in the playoffs for the hundredth year, you need a total makeover!
