Oh ok I was mostly worried it was some fantastic new board with lights and who knows what else.
Go search for shredlights, you won't be worry about that kind of thing after that 😉 works as well for the Velar 😀

What are the advantages of a gear drive versus belt? Forgive my ignorance, I'm a total noob. Just bought my Velar last week!
It’s a closed system and no belts to swap out ever again.

Anyone know the gear ratio for the new drive? Wondering if it changes the torque/top speed vs the stock belt drive setup.
I think 4.3 (+-0.1) and the original is either 4.4 (66T - 15T) or 4.0 (60T - 15T). So it should fit the 14S with 150Kv quite well imo.
