Heyday’s WTSurf is its largest model, with room for 17 watersports-loving family and friends. Though its name implies a specialization in wakesurfing, our time aboard proved this boat is capable of much more.

Costs about as much as a dodge charger (hellcat) or a lexus or less than all of the new mercedese, teslas, etc that you see all over the place.

​@@collin9085we're both off a little bit. Not near cost of a house but base is 55 and loaded is175k that hellcat is nice but base 43 loaded 75 is a badass car,👍 Awesome sounding vehicle. You know what boat stands for right?

This boat sells for 80-85k right now. My point is that a slightly nice car sells for this. The kind of thing you see everywhere. The average cost of a new vehichle in america is 50k I believe. A lot of nice pick up trucks SUV's cost as much as this boat or more and you would not bat an eye when you pass them every day on the road.

370hp and WOT only 35??? So the base 320hp engine would only give you 31 mph, talk about fuel burn when just cruising.

Tow boats are geared about 1.75 to 1. Many other boats are geared 1:1. So the engine only spins the prop about half as fast. Furthermore, the props on these boats are not very aggressive and have less pitch. Again, they are designed for low end power. So each rotation of the prop only moves the boat forward maybe 2/3 as much as a conventional boat.
Even if you have a 450hp motor (many towboats do) the top speed still is the same. The RPM's are what matter and the redline for RPM's will be the same. So this boat will go about the same speed with both motor options.
