- We’ve paused on Therapy Days to make it more comfortable and enjoyable for Faith. A smaller pack and more catered to her likes as well as Chancey boy.
Luke still needs to travel into the city to pick up and drop off the holiday doggies, so on this day, Chance was co-pilot. Not enthusiastic about the early start, but definitely excited about the outing and extra attention from Luke.
Back at the farm, we go bush walking, swimming in the pool … Faith comes in for a rest in the house but it’s a bit too busy. We open some parcels for the dogs. It was so much fun, it was like Bandit and Joey knew exactly that the gifts were for them. No joke. Thank you so very much to those that sent parcels. We have a lot of parcels waiting to be opened, we are trying to get through them. Thank you 🙏
Every day, the shelter doggies are learning new and more skills. Might not look like it, but there’s always so much going on. Nevaeh and her toy mania, she’s learning to ‘leave’, not continue to the death (terrible pun) with tug of war, no toy guarding, no snatching from humans. Yep lots! The American Staffy brothers Tank and Chopper have only just discovered swimming and toys. Toys is definitely something these dogs haven’t had much of any experience with. Tank and Chopper are working on sharing/guarding and well Chopper … is learning about when swim time is over we gotta leave. Sad lesson.
Rosco put Chance through his paces in training testing. He even licked his chops. Chance did very well.
Faith has made it a week since we discovered her cancer. Results came back that it started in her mammary gland, it’s high grade and is all throughout her lymphatic system now. We’re taking her to the oncologist to see what we can support her with in the coming weeks, hopefully months. We’re being optimistic about it. We want to give her the kind of days she would love each day, whilst giving her medical support to be comfortable and maybe a little extra time. We won’t push Faith past when she tells us it’s time. But in the meantime, we’re going to do what we can.
Chance, the beautiful, big, boy, absolutely adores you, Luke. He knows you saved his life. And he'll be forever grateful to you. You're the first human that told him that he mattered, that he had worth. Thanks for doing that for him, showing him the world isn't that terrible place he knew before.

You can tell by Faith's eye contact and mannerisms that she knows she is loved, wanted and taken care of. I love this so much! You can't change her beginnings but making her ending (hopefully far off) as loved and wanted as possible is just beyond words! We don't deserve dogs, they show us how it should be!

Chance is such a gorgeous, affectionate dog. And he’s clearly a formidable dog who have no problem protecting his home. He’s come so far already. One day he’s going to make a great addition to some lucky family.

When I started watching this channel I noticed Donald always looking up at Luke and being right beside him and Luke or no one pet him they pet every dog so I ask in a comment why no one pet him I thought it was maybe a training thing and Luke said that he doesn’t like to be petted when their out he’s just looking at him to see what their going to do next to look at him he looks like he’s begging for attention when he’s inside he likes his pets

Have a look for the video, I think if you do a search for Donald, it will come up - Donald is the most obvious but there are others too who just mean business when their outside.

I love Betty. She is just a little trooper. Bandit is just a character. All the dogs are so interesting to watch. Unique personalities. Each has their own little job and sense of adventure.
I'm not even half way through and there are so many things to like. Chance has the biggest squinty-eyed smile when he looks up at Luke. It will be a joyous day when he is able to be off lead and part of the pack.
I still find it amazing every time a new shelter dog falls in love with the pool and swimming. And to see Hope getting into playing with toys is great, what a massive step for her development into every day life. Seeing her understand the joys of chasing a ball, absolutely melted me. 🐾❤️🐾
Yes, I got all choked up watching the joy and barking with excitement Hope was experiencing from having that ball to play with. She has come such a
long way and it’s so delightful to watch her and dear Faith’s transformation.♥️
Tank isn't the best swimmer but he sure is enthusiastic.
Chance was like Uncle Luke its dark outside what's going on. LOL Chance decided to drive. If I was a single woman looking to adopt a dog Chance would be my choice. He is a cuddle bear would also make me feel so safe when walking him. Even though he is sweetie, people would not mess with you when they see Chance. Betty and her sister riding with Dylan was so cute. Bandit time is like Island time no worries. I love how the little dogs go right up to Chance they are not afraid of him. Cutie Pie, Billy, Betty, Miss Violet and Miss Red. Wolf great job helping with the vaccuming. Poor Faith so much noise. Miss Kitty Rose and her ball. I have bought those plastic golf balls for our cats for years. They love them. Bandit knew that was his piggy box. Joey is the first Kelpie I heard about. She introduced me to the breed. What a magnificent dog you are Joey. Bandit wants to know where his Vizsla's are they know how to play the game. They get the toy I take it back. Chance had a great time in the puppy play area.
I totally agree with you about Chance. He’s so sweet and cuddly but you’d be very safe with him just because of the way he looks. My own dogs are like that too. They’re both gentle sweeties (and because of their past before they were rescued, they actually scare very easily) but because of the way they look, strangers are careful not to mess around with them.
Lovely to see Hope grabbing a toy. All the dogs are so happy, it's heart warming to see.
Oh, Chancey Boy is my favorite!!! I always hope to see goofy Chance in every episode. Evans Family, please adopt Chance!!! Or please someone do a spinoff channel with Chancey and his cute squishy Johnson Bulldog face!! I just gotta keep seeing Chance!! Oh, I fell in love with that boy!!! I mean, my purebred Am Bull does great in her pack of 4, but I know it's a much bigger pack at the Evans' and American Bulldogs are stubborn but they are so goofy and funny and they fart and look so cute. What am I gonna do if I can't see Chance?🙄 I do love all the others, especially Staffy Sisters and Cutie Pie and Kitten Rose and all, and am so proud of them, but Chance's huge Bulldog grin just makes my heart skip a beat and it makes my day!!!

I love that Roscoe doesn’t need a ramp to get in or out of the pool. He just slides over the side no matter where he is. And I’m convinced that Kitty Rose is a dog. 🤗🥰🫶🏼😎

I don't know anyone else who can turn more dogs into fish, but you guys have the track record! Now you've got poor Chopper growing gills. I can't help but smile to see them having so much fun, they don't want to leave. Love the swimming part!
I thought I was mistaken at first when I saw Faith in the midst of all the dogs and humans during the forest walk instead of hanging on at the edges of the pack until Luke said the same thing. Seeing her amongst the GSDs, with Luke and even coming up to Sam for a quick pat was so satisfying.
But Faith sitting still in Luke’s arms, which was obviously her safe spot in the midst of all the noise and busy-ness, topped it all. Even though from the very start, Faith went more readily to Luke than anyone else, this is the first time I’ve ever seen her stay so close for so long to even him. Best moment in a video brimming over with special moments. 🧡🐾

What an awesome treat for Chance , he is doing so awesome around the other dogs, especially Roscoe. Love seeing Hope's tail going a mile a minute when she gets pats on the head . Faith was content in her daddy's lap. Bandit was too funny finding and taking the pigs out of the package. Such awesome toys for the dogs and I love Luke's head rest pillow. Chopper staying behind at the pool reminds me of some of Bandits antics of not wanting to leave.
I can’t get through a video with Faith in it without crying,although I love to see how well she’s doing❤️. I keep thinking about the life she had before the farm....and she’s only four. I know I’ve said it before but I just want to say Thank You again for all that you’re doing to make her last weeks comfortable and full of love💞.

Faith is still living her best. Thankful for her pain meds; wonderful to have the Squire Bandit to supervise all napping and sleeping times! He will be a great presence for Faith, and hopefully for Hope, as she begins to realize how ill Faith is. Thank you for letting us all walk along with you and the pack. (BTW, those are some funny- looking horses grazing on the green grass..LOL!) peace for us all

It's just crazy how Bandit knows all the boxes that have squeaky pigs for him. Like they have a distinct smell, even amongst all the other toys, and the wrappers. He's quite clever that one.
Chopper reminded me of Bandit when he used to hide at home time, and my old Boxer Kreacher, when he didn't want to leave the park when he was playing with all his friends. Poor Chopper, he's got a pool full of toys, and play time is over. ♥️🐾🤗

Guys what a great day they all had I love the jumping in the pool it's amazing. It still makes me so sad to see Faith so scared still but she's trying poor sweet baby. Awwww Chance looked so lonely sitting by himself but I know Luke knows what he's doing ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Sweet Chopper can't say no to swimming and he's so good at jumps, he's a fish alright and it's wonderful to see how many shelter babies have such a love for the water ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I enjoyed the 'herd' grazing in the tall very green grass. Chance is so close to off lead. Rosco was pushing it for sure in his face. Some excellent and elegant leaps into the pool = Nevaeh! Little Betty and Little Billie are adorable. Was Kitty Rose in her crate the day you took a coffee break with 1000 and 1 big doggos in the house? I heard her plaintive meowing, "Let me out!" Wishing Faith a peaceful pain free time in your care. Thank you for this long video sans music from Pennsylvania, USA.

Chance really was a good boy today. He looked like he was trying to so hard to please Luke and would look up at him with that huge smile and those eyes filled with love and appreciation. I hope he gets a furever pawents that shower him with so much love and affection. Freddo walking around with the chicken was just too fun. Great to see Faith accepting the love from Luke as much as she could. Thanks to all those who sent gifts to the doggies. Joey was so cute when it came to gifts in the box for her. I look at these doggies that were not wanted and had little if any joy in their lives, and look at them now. They are loved, wanted and cherished. Thank you Sam and Luke for making that possible. A great video. I had several good hardy laughs watching all the fun. Bandit and the gift opening was hilarious. He knew there was a piggie for him in the box..He can smell them! Sweet Faith, what can I say, I look at her and tears come to my eyes. But , I think it's a good idea to put her on "Bandit time". Do them both good. Thank you for all you guys do. Thank you to the donaters of the lovely toys for the dogs, t-shirts for Elle, Evie and Wolfie and a relaxing bone pillow for Mum and Dad. We have another water convert who doesn't want to stop. That was such a relaxing video. Loved the casual walk & grazing. However, the BEST part of it was when Luke was holding & petting Faith. Looks like you’ve got a Chopper-fish issue. 🤣 His not wanting to leave was precious. Chance is so close to a trial run free with pack. He was wonderful on the bush walk. Several times he turned himself away from a trouble and looked to you Luke for approval. For he and Roscoe so close and nose to nose without an issue… Chance is being the best boy. As with all four of the rehab pack, they learned the language and thrived with the love. Who knows, in a few weeks, Chance could end up being the mush that is Freddo and Roscoe. It is also nice to see Nevaeh learning how to share the toys. The playing she did with Nike was so sweet. Both did a few prancing turns. Good to see Bandit being Bandit. He knows a squeaky pig when he smells them. Poor Chopper, no honey, you cannot live at the pool. Time for a dry off and a nap before dinner. And finally Faith and Hope. Faith will shine brighter and longer being in her own pack. She looked tired but so relaxed and content. Hope is a joy. She plays now like a puppy and wants to just be a love bug. Sam, thank you the hour of relaxation and joy. Oh, by the way, Wolfie is learning so much about vacuuming, want to loan him out? Lol. My boxer puppy was glued to the TV when she heard the squeaky toys. She also has a small squeaky pig like the ones in the parcel. Luna and I enjoyed the video!
