The press made Michael out to be a bad guy to sell tabloids.

I read in one of the books about him that in his interviews he started to expound on"other things" political, social, drugs, sex etc so they always had another member with him when there was an interview. Management knew the press wanted to talk but Chris Murphy said not with Michael alone. Look back and you will see in the interviews if it's not the whole band then it's Michael with one other band member.

From what I’ve read, there is no inheritance. The money he earned with his hard work is in the mist…or someone else’s pocket. The irony is that if he had managed to make it through whatever despair he was feeling, and lived through that night, he would have had to deal with his diminishing fortune and had to cut off (and sue) a few folks close to him. I’m Sure that would’ve been devastating as well.

Michael did say in an interview that Paula wanted his hair black. I think she did it to try and make him less attractive to women. I didn't like it either, but he was still the sexiest man in music, even if his hair was black...purple, pink, etc. LOL
