- Heard a pop. Huge nail in tire. Had wrong tube or it would have been half the time. Patched tube twice. Didn't like first one. 20 min, still not bad. Some woman stopped and told me there was a bike shop down the street. She was shocked when I said I'm just gonna fix it here myself, but thanks!

Happened to me on the exact same bike a few days ago. It was two tiny but rock solid and sharp thorns that popped it.
Okay, nice video. My phone stole the 19 minutes in the middle of the video! Would you please repost the whole thing? I want to see how to disassemble the rear tire! 😮😂
It was a short so YT keeps it under a minute. Been waiting for a flat to get it all on camera and have gone over 3k miles without one using the Tannus Armour liners. Great idea tho and I should do a video of the wheel removal itself.
Have u ran over any nails with tannus since then?, only things popping mine are these random nails😂 @johnnysezebike1319
@@AintaWeeb2 Nothing that got stick in the tire for me to see and always hearing the sound of running over metal objects. I'm going to post a short later today showing what Tannus did prevent: major sidewall blowout 😳

Love this bike I have the black and white model. Very choice. 1000w 48AH AWD Hydraulic brakes (switched rear pads from red/semi to gold) added a rail light for trails and got rid of the single bearing pedals to 3 bearing pedals. Takes jumps like a beast.
Haha I just added 3 bearing pedals to my Blue one. Have white also. So much fun climbing hills. Ready to go ride some fresh mud tonight!
I like your bike
Thank you!
Nice bike. After doing a tube on my aventon, I am motivated to get inserts
Thanks! The inserts are doing great so far and now have Tannus on all my bikes. They do change the ride a bit tho.
Thank you!
Spot on with how long it takes to fix if your not slow …. You should sprey that stuff in the tube then fill it with air. I think it’s a run flat can
I have the Tannus Armour in all motored wheels now. Thousands of miles on 'em and serving me well. Used to get a flat every 700 miles on avg. Prob just jinxed myself
I don’t want to replace tube I rather use patch cheaper
Very true! I generally with swap the tube and patch it in the shop as future spare. Had to patch this one twice because I didn't like how it turned out.
What did you use to hold the handle bars up so it won’t damage what’s on the handle bar
Handlebar Jacks. I never leave home without em and whenever working on the bikes. Here's the link.

Put FlatOut inside your inner tube. It instantly fixes the tube if you get a puncture. I got to like 3000 miles on a similar fat tire bike before i finally had to replace the tube lol.
I hear ya. Doesn't always work from what I've seen with fellow riders. Don't like the false sense of security. If I have a puncture I wanna know before I head down the mountains and find out at the wrong time it's not gonna last. Rather spend the 15 min and knowing it's good. Over 2300 miles with no flats using Tannus Armour alone. Prob just jinxed myself lmao.
Muc offs wham bam for this job definitely!
Not sure. I would take the battery out and reset it in the cradle. I had to do that once. If not they have a forum on facebook. Used to have a contact for repairs on there.
I have to Cyrusher xf800. Love it
Friends had those. Very cool bikes.
Seems like 2 seconds to me
Is the controller susceptible to eminent damage on the bottom of frame directly behind the front tire. Every limb you drive over is gonna wack it!
Great question! I always thought the same when I saw those on ebikes. Never had an issue so I never gave it a second thought. I ride rough terrain and it would have happened by now for sure.
How do i remove the wheel?
I make sure power is off, remove batt is a sure way. I disconnect motor cable FIRST then remove axle nuts. I use a wrench to take tension off axle by rotating counter clockwise with a wrench on flat dies of axle. You will hear a pop and see tension released or else it will be tough to get off. Then move chain out of the way and pull wheel up and off. Hope that helps!
@@johnnysezebike1319 thank you
I bet you didn't deflate your tires to make sure the valve stem was straight. Your fault, drrrrrrr
That's what the valve stem remover is for. The first step in fixing a flat.
SLIME..?
Yea I don't do the Slime thing. I prefer to know I have a flat and just fix it versus not knowing or thinking it will hold. Not when coming down 2200' mountain. Not to mention it's a mess when I do change it. Without Tannus Armour I'd prob be using it tho.
