- đ Check out the all new 2023 Nissan Rogue Platinum! To be honest I was so surprised with just how nice the new Rogue was! If you're looking for a really nice all around crossover, the new 2023 Nissan Rogue Platinum is on the top of the list! The 3 cylinder turbo engine packs enough of a punch to get up and move and I averaged 30mpg all week that I had the new Rogue. The Platinum gives it semi aniline leather for the interior and a really nice interior all over. All of the safety tech is there along with many luxury features. New Rogue is smooth when driving even on the highway and very comfortable. While I'm not a fan of CVT transmissions, this one was fine for this type of vehicle and was smooth and managed power well. I am impressed and liked the new 2023 Nissan Rogue Platinum AWD a lot and really enjoyed using it as my daily driver for the week. Super good option for an affordable crossover. This 2023 Nissan Rogue Platinum was loaded up with every option and costs $43,000 and it was finished in Champaign Silver Metallic with Super Black on the roof. Only drawbacks with the all new Nissan Rogue is that the back seats could be a bit more comfortable. The base seemed pretty low and flat. Wouldn't mind them sinking in a bit more in the back portion so you feel like your more in the seat rather then on top of the seat. I'm sure kids in the back wouldn't really notice that as I do tho. But overall I'd buy one of these if I was looking for a nice normal crossover. In this video, we take a look at the new Nissan Rogue Platinum and test drive it! We cover the start up, walkaround, POV, and test drive, and give you our thoughts on the new Nissan Rogue Platinum. The new Nissan Rogue Platinum is a great update to the current Rogue model. You get all the features and benefits of the Rogue, but with a more luxurious feel. We give you a walkaround and test drive of the new Rogue Platinum, and let you know what we think!

I bought one a month ago. I traded my top of the line Mitsubishi Outlander, 2016 ( which was a good SUV). The Rogue is AMAZING! My sister has a new Lincoln Nautilus and I would take the Rogue over that any day! Build quality is really good. All of the Platinum units are made in Japan and they do the job right. Like everyone else,,, I am apprehensive about the variable compression! So, only time will tell. I bought the extended bumper to bumper warranty,, just in case. LISTEN TO ME! You can't appreciate what the variable compression engine mated to a turbo charger plus the newly designed CVT is all about until you want to pass someone while going 55 on a two lane highway! It is reminiscent of "punching it" with an old 4 barrel carburetor. This thing FLYS! So, I am pretty happy so far. I hope I can say that in four years. Later, Rev
Oh nice! Yeah I was very impressed with this. Very good car and much nicer then the competition. Enjoy it!
That tutone color scheme on this model is simply gorgeous!
It really is!
Nissan stepping up their game
Absolutely! Very nice car!
I actually weirdly dig that color with the black accents/roof.
It grew on me a bit. Iâd still go with maybe a red. But not a bad spec! Definitely liked the tan interior
Just bought one, love it!!
The Platinum Edition!!
Good choice! Enjoy it!!
This is the most in depth car review of my new dream car so far! I'm so happy that you also have the exterior and interior colours I want as well because it just solidifies my choice to buy it later in life.
Nissan ĂŹs getting back into business. That Rogue looks good in that color and love interior color prefer tan color over black. After last generation that was when the Rogue became popular see a lot of them on the highway love interior/exterior has bold design wish the Platinum trim had 9 speed automatic still CVT fine in rest of trims also think should offer a Rogue Hybrid. Overall like the sharp looks of the Rogue and color think has great design not ugly or bland looking looks aggressive not a boring SUV.
Yeah this really surprised me! Fantastic crossover and I really enjoyed driving it! The CVT doesnt really bother me. It has 'gear' changes and really feels similar to a normal tranmission. They did a great job!
I just got my Platinum Rogue AWD and itâs amazing
My very first Nissan SUV! Good video bro.
Oh nice! Super impressive SUV for sure!
I was wondering if they replaced the seats because all Iâve heard from family members that have the 2018 Rogue is very uncomfortable on long drives. They have to get out and walk around to relax their back , hurts so bad. Because I am looking at this unit in these colours very nice looking.
I have a 2021 Rogue AWD SL - Love it!
Cool! I was very impressed with this!
Nissan recently launched the Rogue in Europe (as itâs called here, the X-Trail).
The only way to get AWD here is if you get the e-4ORCE hybrid.
Oh cool! A hybrid is probably a good powerpoint for it. I got 30mpg even with this one around town
@@BrosFOURRSpeed The e-4ORCE produced 213hp. The e-Power without the AWD only makes 201.
0-62 in the AWD version takes 7 seconds.
Interesting. Be cool to check out one day
Despite me not being a fan of the CVT and never will be, I like how Nissan "redid" the whole interior. On the flipside, for them to put a 3 cylinder in a vehicle this size has me completely bewildered đ€
Yeah I donât like cvt either. But this drove very nice and âshiftedâ too. Weâll see how robust the 3 cylinder can be. But it felt solid. Unlike the Bronco Sport. That one feels like itâs about to explode đ
@@BrosFOURRSpeed how can you tell the cvt is about to explode lol?
Me too! I just do not trust a 3 cyl turbo engine coupled with that CVT which has been problematic in the past.
@@dextersmithbsee itâs a redesigned CVT, not the same one thatâs had problems in the past
@@BrosFOURRSpeed thanks for the information
my friend who is mechanic also bought a 23 rogue
I'm looking to get myself a new compact suv later this year. Looking for something reliable. Without being biased, would you folks recommend the Nissan Rogue or Toyota Rav4 ?
Thatâs a tough one! The more I drive the Rogue, the more I like how itâs almost more refined compared to the Toyota. Very comfortable and smooth. The RAV4 is a great vehicle as well, just might not have as much tech, so depends on what you need/want.
Yes Nissan killed it I love this SUV and its so good I don't understand why they changed the look of the 2024 v motion grill ..Put it back !!! it makes the SUV look strong and without it it looks like a weak ford edge! Just put it back. Thank u.
I was trying to build the nissan rouge with the Champaign silver metalic with black on top , but wont let me select the interior color to tan. How was it possible to get these colors as shown in the video?
Probably have to go in person to a dealer to see! Thatâs how this press vehicle showed up so someone might have better info at a dealer!
We did but what the website let you build too is quite misleading, none of the dealerships lets you build what you want . And this color combination is non existent unless you change the interior your self
Nissan stole the platinums fog lights!
What!?
It's a dealer installed option now.
Is engine noise being piped in on speakers?
It might. But its a pretty quiet sounding engine to be honest. Very quiet to drive
Is the color sardine silver?
Itâs not! I mentioned the color 0:15 seconds in!
How much is that Nissan to lease it
I have no clue. I just have the MSRP. Talk with your Nissan dealer and they can probably give you all your options
The gas cover is no lock?
I canât remember but thatâs not uncommon. Some cars have that, some donât.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed It locks when the car is locked
This is such a shame itâs one the best looking midsize and interior is actually very nicely appointed but that 3 cylinder with a cvt ? Hmm I think the Koreans are still a better choice at this price point and the warranty is much better too!! What are your thoughts bro?
I will say the engine seems powerful and didn't strain. The Bronco Sport with a 3 cyl sounds like it's going to explode. And this CVT feels like a normal tranmission and has 'gear' changes. I would actually buy one of these. I've see a lot about KIA/Hyundai engines failing. So I'd avoid them to be honest. This seems like a great choice and it really surprise me. Didn't think I could like a CVT and 3 cyl, but it works well
@@BrosFOURRSpeed hmm đ€ thatâs surprising Iâd have to drive one to see what your saying but I take your word for it they have been making cvts now for awhile so hopefully they get this one rt
I agree. A 3 cyl?? Turbo with a CVT??? How durable is this drive train going to be as compared to a Toyota, Mazda or KIA/Hyundai? Too bad!
actually from the points of my friend who is mechanic, nissan VC turbo engine is way better than korean engine
he also told me rogue is using new cvt JF022E which is quite reliable
Thatâs Canadian dollars right?
That is not, USD.
43k, Platinum premium package (that's a month full) and no fog lights đ€
3 cylinder is cool until you put 2 adult passengers inside, then you ain't going nowhere anytime soon!
I had no issues with my wife and I. If you are a very heavy individual like 300+ lbs. I could see it slowing you down. But average sized people, this car was plenty peppy
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I meant if you are driving and have 2 or 3 more adults it will be sluggish. You will notice the difference in every car so you need that added power to compensate for the weight. But yea, 2 adults and kids in the back you will be just fine.
No cool front seats
It has vented seats
