This was my favorite song from the ages of 12-13, and its by far my favorite ROAR song just because of my emotional connection to it. Like… this song was played for hours and hours on end, and once I realized I related to the lyrics I kinda figured out what a horrible environment i was in at the time. Im far away from that place now. I don’t listen to this song as the blanket wrapped around me on dark nights anymore, but with more forgiveness to my past self and I did leave, I did escape, and i did live beyond those walls. I feel free when i listen to this song.
I hope this song gets the respect and care it deserves. It’s an a amazing song about a horrible real world story. And one that still happens today indeed. I wish anyone experienced something like this the best..
This song is so good and before I thought this was a wholesome song but after finding out what the meaning is just gained much more appreciation for this song because it shows something so horrible the world can be but still find hope
I love this song, especially when I'm looking at all the animals leaving, tried to give pipsqueak a marshmallow, pipsqueak then rejects said marshmallow, they all run away, and then I look at the lorax, and then he pinches his ass to fly away into the sky.
