Just bought the 2017 C7 Z06 with Z07 package. I also have a 2013 Gen V Viper GTS. Gotta say, GM knocked it out of the park with this Corvette. I agree with all your points, and there are so many more like ventilated seats, heads up display, memory seats, cup holders that are actually functional, storage space behind the main screen............on and on and on...... Overall, its the better car, and it is absolutely gorgeous with additional carbon fibre ground effects, splitter, etc. I honestly can't believe how good it is........

I agree with your likes. I just purchased my first corvette. The C7 was just too gorgeous not to buy. Bought a 2014 corvette stingray coupe 3LT 6speed auto so my wife can drive it too. Blade silver metallic with the red interior. Performance exhaust, heads up display. Absolutely thrilled with the car. Love everything about it. Gets lots of looks and compliments. Going to look into adding the Z51 style spoiler to it. Can the infotainment system be upgraded to use apple play?
Cars,costs and technology If you ever develop pops or squeaks from the targa roof try applying this lubricant to the weatherstripping on the roof as well as the connecting points on the 3 latches for the roof. This technique eliminated 99% of the noises my roof made. You have to reapply every so often. Product: GM Super Lube with PTFE item #12371287. Available at Amazon or at your local Chevy parts department.
I've never taken my 2016 Z06 roof panel off it has about 22000 miles on it I live in northern Michigan it's been in storage since late October with 2 foot of snow right now I hope to have it out before may
If you compare the top to a Ferrari 458/488 this car would almost be considered a convertible as it's more of a targa top. The old Ferrari 355 GTS was always my favorite model. BTW, I think you spec'd it out perfectly. I love the black wheels. It really looks good with the other black accents on the body. I agree about the tail lights. I think something similar to the GTR would look really good, but overall there's not a bad line on the whole car. I love how wide and low it is, I'm saving up to buy one someday. I'll only do it if I can pay cash as it will be a second car. I don't even mind buying one with some miles on it. I actually expected the C6's to go down in price more than they have. If you haven't already look up the 710,000 mile C5 (2000) Corvette. The guy drives it every day and goes between Georgia and Florida. It's on the original engine and second transmission. It really shows how robust the drivetrains are. I have an '05 Silverado with 200,000 trouble free miles. I've only replaced the belts and the water pump. If GM can do one thing really well it's engines. All LS based engines are absolutely bulletproof.

Love the exhaust sound. While at the same time it is not too loud to destroy the quietness the neighborhood.
