Hi Kim, I really think your doing a great job with your gardening and videos. Your gardens are beautiful, I know how hard it must be working full time and taking care of all your plants. Keep up the great work!
Thank you. I really enjoy spending time in my garden so it's not work at all for me. I wish I had more time. thanks so much for watching.
I put cardboard down to keep weeds out this year and just cut slits cor my beans. It just happens that rabbits don't like the feeling of the cardboard on their feet. I do have 5 families of bunnies back there and no bunny damage. Twas a happy find. But now it is the birds 🐦 🐦⬛ keep scratching and plucking up my beans
Kim, I saw you first time today. It’s just what I needed to know. It’s still June and I still have things to plant! You are a joy! Thank you for taking the time to teach us!! Your garden is beautiful! 🤗🙏❣️
Thank you for stopping by my channel. Happy gardening!
Well, I guess I have a pet ground hog. He ate all of my beans.
😂 All you can do is laugh and hope it finds a new home.
Will be putting some more squash and beans again
Covering up young plants with cheap wire mesh waste baskets from Dollar Tree to protect from “wascally wabbits”. Seems to work so far.
Hello beautiful.... I just started gardening... and I realize it takes patience... as I showed my nephew he said...Aunite all i see is dirt... so i popped him in the eye and told him to look again...LOL
i am excited for my radish to start coming up
Just found your chan, you are so sweet and REAListic. An inspiration mixed with common sense. Your gardens are beautiful
Thanks and welcome
Great video, thank you. Super hot weather is what I have now from late morning until late evening, triple digits!. It's hard on the tomato and cucumber plants. I'm watering early morning and late afternoon, so far so good. Greetings from Greenville, NC.
I planted S.B watermelon seeds last week, pkg was $3, later on I went to a nursery and saw a 6pk starts for $1.38 and the even had flowers on them, so they were cheaper bcz it somewhat late in the season and they saved me 4-6 weeks of time.
Thanks great!
Thank you for great info! Im going to seed a 2nd round of somethings too.
Try Liquid Fence for the critters. I wouldn’t spray it directly on the plants, just around the perimeter of the enclosures. I use it for my flowers and just sprayed it around my container garden on my deck where some critter (I think it’s a squirrel!) has been digging in my containers. You have to spray every 2 weeks and reapply of it rains, but it works really well. Heads up though, when you first apply it, it STINKS, but the smell goes away after a few minutes lol.
First time viewing your channel. Great information. I have been gardening for over 30 yrs. and I still am learning. I will be watching your channel for new/updated garden do's.
Glad to see someone like you. Sooo refreshing.

Happy Gardening!
Thank you!!! I've been gardening for about 15 years and I'm still learning as well. I like to try lots of different things. I will keep the videos coming.
Honey, I have rabbits and chipmunks. They ate everything into
Until I netted my garden. With all the rain it was futile to put out the cayenne pepper . I’m going to start trapping and take them to the State park. I hope that pesky rabbit finds a new home!
nice job kim happy gardening
Thank you! You too!
❤ great job. Nice video. Keep the veggie growing. Thanks for sharing.😊
Thanks for visiting
That was a lot of seeds planted. Great job! Hope everything germinates and thrives.
I hope so too!
Glad to have come across this. I have just gotten into serious gardening this year after my failed vegetable garden from last year.
Been focusing on my front yard where I have decorative foliage and flowers doing well this year.
I Thought it was too late to plant vegetables, so I'm excited to see I can still try my hand at a veggie garden.
I cook a lot of Japanese food, and some Korean food. Didn't know the Korean radish was sweeter than daikon. That'd be a yummy thing for me to try growing.
It's super easy to grow as well my daughter says they taste the same to her as the Japanese Daikon radish but I think they're sweeter
Hi! 👋🏼 You came across my feed and I’m glad you did. Great video! Beautiful garden! I had to subscribe 😊💚

Another insightful video!!!!!! Just did my 2nd round of seeding this week as well
Hi, Kim. How do you preserve/store the collard greens
Nice video.
Many many thanks
Beautiful ❤
Thank you! 😊
Good sharing!
Thank you! Cheers!
👏👏👏👏excellent job!
Thank you so much 😀
New subscriber! Enjoyed your video!
Welcome aboard!
Hello sister, I recently learned that the guy from MI Gardner said some slick stuff during the George Floyd trials.
Do tell🤔
I'm still trying to get my cukes going....squirrels pulling up or something....anyway, I've got more seeds planted in little cups and I intend on putting in more carrots.....
When you direct sow. How many seeds do you use? When I started in January I used2-3 each cell. Got 💯 germination
It depends on what I'm growing and how old my seeds are. I add more when I know I'm using very old seeds
I love Dragon Tongue beans but so do the deer. They have eaten all of the leaves on them. 😖
💕💕💕💕💕💕🤞🤞
Great video . I'm just wondering what state are you in ? I'm in florida
Thank you!!! I'm in Ohio Zone 6b
Hello Ms. KIM! IM 72 years old and I could really use your seat. Can you post the link so I can consider buying it?
Which seat are you interested in the one with Wheels? I don't know where to find it is over 20 years old. But I have links to the step stool and the other garden stool if you're interested in those
I'm in Ohio too.
Very cool!
❤You have a beautiful garden❤IS that poison ivy growing up the tree behind you?❤
Yes it is! It's taking over in a few places. 😢
What kind of flooring do you use between your beds?
I use landscape fabric in between my beds
Is happy frog soil the same as top soil
No. It's a potting soil mix. I do not use top soil anywhere in my garden. I only use potting soil. Thanks for watching!
Do you recommend wood chips in your garden. I don't want to encourage bugs slugs etc
Lots of people have wood chips in their Garden I just don't use them in between my beds because eventually the wood chips break down and they turn into soil which promotes growth of weeds
My collard went to seed. Will it grow back or should I get it back
Once they go to seed you need to pull them up and plant more seeds. If it's too warm, then you'll need to wait to fall for cooler season.
Can I still plant in denver colorado
Yes. If harvest is 75 days or less. You should be okay, depending on varieties. What zone do you live in? When is your first frost date?
How do you keep white butterflies and other pests from eating your greens. And Aphids out of the garden
My daughter picks off all of the green worms, and I tried to have a good balance of beneficial insects in my garden and birds versus the bad insects. In past years, I have released ladybugs into the garden, but this year, I have plenty already in the garden. I also have a lot of birds in the garden, so I try to ensure water sources for them so that they don't peck at my vegetables.
I also have insect cloth but I rarely use it in the garden
Kim what zone are you in? I’m in zone 9a.
I'm in 6b. Southwest Ohio
Do you companion plant
Yes. Sometimes I do. Thanks for watching!
I have pet garden snakes
I just saw a video on 17 plants to deter snakes. I will send it your way.
I can't seem to get it to you. But there is one on Homes and Garden. Titled , Snake Repellant 15 Plants to keep reptiles away.
I would have to stop gardening LOL I would become an indoor Gardener only. Absolutely not! Lol
I am so close to giving up gardening. I shut it down for at least w days before venturing out again.🫣🏃♂️🐍 no snakes allowed

Thanks for subbing 💕
