I'm impressed with her skills, I figured she had a military background. She's very disciplined. Her shelter is great for more of the dry seasons, but monsoon season would've posed a problem if this shelter were not built on a hill so the water runs down. She reinforced the clay walls, which is smart. The wood blocks on the floor probably help with the floor not being a soggy mess. Great job.
Yes, I was thinking the last part too. With a half sunken design and stairs leading down to it, in a heavy rain, I could imagine the the rain waterfalling down the stairs and flooding the cabin.
