At least 1 defensive fullback. eg Pavard, Bissaka, D.Burn, Reinildo, Mitchell.

Hey, my 86 base van dijk was running out of contract days so I bought the premium pass and got this current van dijk, but I am not getting good service from him like his base card used to provide.
I tried to get de light both in the club selection and in the youngster pack but luck did not favor.

Semi auto the best in my experience, u just drag the player down or try to match up and when ur other defender is facing enemy then it will switch to the right player then tackle it

Hold the screen on the right side, and flick up and down while still holding the screen, the GK will come out to defend, it can be risky though

Learn "Pass & Move" from yt tutorials.
Play Quick Counter or Long Ball Counter if you want your players run forward more often.
But others video says that u must on Offside trap because if u off ur dfensive line is too high when off the ball position.
I don’t prefer offside trap ON. It worked back in Pes 2021 but now It's risky

Probably one anchor man and one box to box. Orrr... maybe make it one CM and one DM, my opinion though
You can take Destroyer + orcha or anchorman + b2b . The recent bad defence mechanism make me shift towards anch+b2b

Naah but still this ain't enough konami they fucked it up real bad this time. we get more busy in button rather thn feeling like we playing a game the joy turned into a misery.
All these don't work for me against AI. When i try to match up they just cut back and pass. Another annoying is going forward. Dribble is useless. My Messi and Neymar would 100 dribbles with barely 10 successful ones
