I want to add this to my Bucket List too. For years my husband (he passed in 2002) and I lived as Rory says in his videos "We live(d) life like today was our last." We really and truly did. I am so happy we did that before my hubby passed. Actually tomorrow is his B-day....his 18th B-day celebrated in Heaven.
My hubby & I did live as though each day was our last. Slowly ever so slowly it has dawned on me how time STOPPED. There's issues with our kids(who didn't think they got enough $$ when their dad passed, so they've all decided to withhold the grandkids.(I have 5 grandkids I've never met, and we all live within a few miles of each other.) As I watch Rory's videos and the family love that surrounds them all, it's painfully obvious that I miss my hubby and the life I had before he died.
I've tried to make amends(with the kids) and get attacked on social media.(by my children.)I was told by my oldest daughter to make amends with her other siblings and if I didn't, nothing would change. My question is .....how do you make amends for not writing out a check in an amount someone thought they deserved, or better yet, WHY should you do that??
I truly enjoy watching Rory's videos.....because just for a few minutes I get to think back to a wonderful time when I was loved beyond measure. I miss that.

@@holiday-td6hx oh honey you are so loved by our savior. I can relate to the part of having a grandchild not knowing you. My kids are 11, 13 & 32. I became a grandma 3 years ago and my grandson lives right around the corner from me and doesn't even know me. My daughter had a baby with a man in his 40's and he has a criminal record and is drug addicted, so he rules over my daughter and doesn't want to let me see my beautiful grandson. I've waited so long to be a grandma. I feel your pain, but we have to fight this with our best weapon our prayers. God is so much bigger than all this. I'll add my prayers with yours and in God's timing He'll turn all this around. Be strong and know " YOU ARE LOVED". Sending love and prayers your way 🙏❤.

Joey truly was one of Heaven's angels here on earth. I still shed a tear at times. I believe God sent Indy down for Rory because He knew Joey's time on earth was coming to an end. A little bit of Joey to spread joy around. Thank you Rory for sharing the memerories of your sweet bride with all of us.
Y’all are changing lives. One of the reasons I came to the yard sale on Saturday was not to buy some thing, but to feel, just feel, what you portray for us on your Flog and your shows. It’s just so peaceful, so welcoming, so simple and down-home. I stopped in for one of Marcy Jo’s cinnamon rolls and fell in love. When I watch your flogs, it makes me yearn to be kinder, more giving, more loving, And more like Jesus. Thank you for all that you share with us!

I know from years of reading/watching/listening to Rory & Joey that Im not the only one that cries. Some times are sad, but mostly its happy tears, because they make me so happy to see what a good life they live. Im not saying they dont have problems or hard times, Im just saying in all it seems to be so God and family oriented. The way life should be. So many of us wish we had a life like that, I dream and it just makes me happy thinking about it. What a world it would be if everyone would live a life that God meant us to. 😁💖👍✝
You and Joey changed our lives for eternity. For the first time in my husbands 65 years he became a believer. He truly loved Joey. We anxiously waited for each episode, scheduling our weekends around your show. Thank you for all you do and for the joy you have given us. It's our dream to visit your town. God willing we are coming this year. I can not find words to express our love and appreciation for all you do. I sincerely hope you realize what an impact you have on so many people from all walks of life. Husband, supportive and loving. The amazing walk for you and Joey during her battle, then sadly her passing. Now as a single father for a special Indy is heartwarming. Your everyday life, running the farm and business, doting on Indy, your sisters and their restaurants. God has greatly blessed you with an amazing gift and praise you for using it to the fullest. You have given so much to thousands across the country. The exemplary role model you so naturally provide is outstanding. For one man you are reaching such a wide realm of others. You told a story about how Joey told you she was "going to pull away from Indy." In her typical selfless manner she was not thinking of herself. Her infinite wisdom, love and selflessness moved her to lay a foundation in which Indiana would cleave to you, bonding to become the primary caregiver and parent. You were correct when you said most people would not do that. Most of us would want every second for ourself if we were in that situation. Even in her last days with Indiana she did what she knew would be best for you and Indiana. How amazing, where did she get this amazing wisdom and selflessness? We know, our loving heavenly Father, our Lord and Savior. She gave more in her short life than most give in two lifetimes of 80 years. I am blessed to live in the world where Joey and Rory Feek live. Everything you do, everyday you live you are touching and changing lifes, "one word at a time". Joey was correct in her comment that if you had gone home first, there would be no one to write about it. Thank you for all you are, everything you do, your true, sincere desire to give and live each day as if it were your last.

You know, I followed this story as Joey was dying when she went back to Indiana. I learned their story and discovered their music and was just captivated. The story behind "When I'm Gone" just blew me away! But to see this. To see how Rory is moving on, to see Indiana grow, to see how Rory's family has finally come together after so many rough years. It makes you realize that Joey and Rory together is only a small part of this story. You just see how Joey touched this family. Sometimes I believe God sends people to act as angels in our lives. I think she was theirs. And I think Indiana will continue that. Just absolutely touching. I can't wait to see more!

I just love all of you. I've laughed and cried with you. My dream has finally came true. I met the man of my dreams and looking forward to my life in the country. Taking rides in the the antique pick up. Although I don't understand God's ways I know he's faithful. I'm beyond blessed! God bless all of you and sweet Indiana.

I understand why you love your wife so much, she was a hard worker and optimistic about life. Your wife gave you so much , she was awesome. Your family and your community is how we all as Americans should be with our family and our community. Imagine if more people were like your family and your community. I can remember about 60 years ago our family was united and life just seemed so simple. You and your family remind me of how our family used to be.
I didn’t know I was going to cry but at the end did it when they took that meal to the lady with cancer.

I've really loved this episode as it brought back sweet memories of my childhood in Columbia in the early '60s. My Daddy was the pastor of the FBC in downtown Columbia for a few years and then went into evangelism. He built a little house outside of town (which is in the Spring Hill area) next to a little field airport so he could park his little plane when he came home from his preaching trips. I remember as a little girl climbing over the brick wall that surrounded the back yard of President James K. Polk's historic home and playing with other kids while my Momma was in choir practice on Wednesday nights. It's been too long since I've been back to Muletown and now I think I have another fabulous reason to make that trip down Memory Lane. Thank you, Rory and family, for sharing the life you live. May God continue to smile upon you.

When Joey said something like we will be like Johnny and June. I truly wonder if she knew.. Joey and Rory are our Johnny and June. They are the Johnny and June of our lifetime. I honestly believe that our children's children will learn about Joey and Rory.
I truly wish Rory would start singing the songs he writes. I wonder if people know just how many famous songs he has written.
When i first found that crazy song on the video channel, the song that made them famous. I thought what a beautiful woman with the voice of an angel. I never really paid much attention to Rory. Joey was just so much larger than life. Ya know. Now after all these years, watching Rory deal with her loss and seeing how he raises their daughter, my views on Rory have changed. What a beautiful man, he is. Inside and out, Rory is such a beautiful person. He lives his life to raise his daughters and keep Joey's memory alive. And even after all he's lost, he still loves God. When so many would blame God for taking Joey, however Rory just seems grateful to have had her in his life for the short time he had her. Their story is just so beautiful to me. Loves like theirs are what country songs are made of. Now i truly believe Joey knew it all along, she knew how amazing he was. It just took us a bit to catch up is all.
If you ever open a second location, I hope you never shut this one down. Though small, it's such a perfect little place. I'd rather stand in line to get in and eat here, than to get in and be seated at a table right away within a location that has no heart and soul. I absolutely LOVE and adore this place. Thank you for not closing it down!

This man's life makes me realize how boring my life is....I wasn't blessed with tallent, a close family or a good paying career...Im 42, a single mom and don't even own a house because it was taken from me in 2012 after being refused help to save it. Its been downhill from there. Was planning to buy a home last year and then the SCAMDEMIC happened and ruined those plans when I was told I couldn't work as many were. This year has been hell and there's no light at the end of the tunnel with where this country is going. This family is blessed for sure!

I remember when my boyfriend was a trucker we drove by Marcy Jo's and I was like I wish we could have stopped to either eat or just take a picture. We didn't have time or money at the time but I will hold onto my memory of just driving by forever and a day. I am talking bout the original Marcy Jo's out on the highway.
Joey Feek was truly one of the most glorious, stunning, loving, courageous, God loving, hard working, honest, graceful, powerful, compassionate, generous, mentally and spiritually healthy women that ever graced this earth!! When she passed away I was crushed for Rory and Indy. Honestly if there were a perfect woman, I think Joey would be it! That is saying a lot because I come from a family of absolutely incredible women and know many....Rest in Paradise Joey,. The love is everlasting. 🙏🏽✝️💜
