I may be a villain at some point, but hero we all have darkness within us just like how everyone has light in them, everyone chooses a path they want to take, I chose to go down the path that was right for me, You see I was told that life is a carnival and that I should enjoy the ride, But the truth is that life is hell and full of darkness and hate, I envy you heros sometimes, Everyone loves you heros cant get enough you good doers, Maybe things would of been different if there were heros to help me protect the ones I cared about and loved when I needed help protecting them, you heros left me and them to die alone and I was the only survivor, I will never forgive you heroes for what you did.

It’d be nice to hear a hero wanting to settle down and enjoy the peace they’ve made. You did an absolutely amazing job of conveying how confused Mindful was about where she was, how shocked she was when she recognized the listener, how skeptical she was when they told her they’ve retired from being a villain, and how she grudgingly decided to trust that the listener was telling the truth about their retirement, Mindful! The listener and Mindful’s dynamic was absolutely beautiful to listen to with how she went from being skeptical to deciding to trust that they were being honest with her about their retirement from villainy. By the way you know that Bell on a couple of decades ago was able to change what people were perceived she had changed my sight shortly after my powers developed, so yeah that is why I was a villain, indoctrinated to think the villains were right and heroes wrong. You must've not read the newspaper that month as I was acquitted in a case the jury took a whole week to reach a unanimous decision in, and have been working behind the scenes to make sure the villains are unable to succeed whether that be by informing you're justice society or what have you of the plans that I hear from the wind or actually staying near the action for things that must not go sideways for the heroes and in case of emergency I will step in, this time it required that you get some healing where the public can't find, sorry about the phrasing of that last part old habits die hard.
This one was fun. The villan she was fighting must have been tough considering what happened to her and how citizens weren't allowed in the area. Fortunately they were caught and the Listener patched her up. I will say though, isn't it normal to have apple juice in your home? I figure it's like having milk or orange juice 🤔

What I'm getting from this is that he became a villain due to a bad history with corrupt/fake Heroes. He dealt with them and because he got what he wanted he retired. A good person deep down who has just been wronged or been estranged from hero society and wanted to do something about. And the way they found they could do something about it was illegal. Ergo he became a villain. If this was the intention, you're very good at telling a story with few words!
