I think it's the most realistic when the living space and parents bedroom are in the same theme because the parents are most often the once who build or decorate the house/apartment but I think kids rooms are the most realistic when they match up with the kids personality and when they are colorful and full of toys and stuff :)
This is the struggle with a lot of builds! I have been looking for a large home for my legacy royal family. All the big ones have tod rooms upstairs. :/
I love this house. To answer your questions, I watch to the end because I love hearing the thought process behind furniture and color choices. I think I try and keep the main parts of the house similar in colors. Unless I'm making a deliberately messy house. The kids rooms get to be the fun colors. Sometimes if the family is really, really posh I make the kids rooms more sterile and matchy match to the rest of the house. My thought process behind that is the parents would want the entire home in showroom state lol.
Hi! Please don't kill me for my terrible English but I just wanted to say that it would be even more realistic if the grandparents bedroom would be downstairs, because they are old and can't walk stairs that good. But I'm not only here to talk bad about this video. I love it and it's just great â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
I live in the South, and here it is actually very unusual to see a master bedroom upstairs. A typical 2-story house has the master and sometimes one more bedroom downstairs, and all the kidsâ room upstairs!
To be honest I prefer to keep the garage as the garage but a tip: if you build the garage to be level with the ground, you can add inside a door from the house and a small landing and stairs, I usually do that. That way it's realistically accessible. :D I like to use the garage door from the debug menu but I think this way it could work with simple windows. I hope I managed to explain clearly. Otherwise it's a really cool build! I've been saving your builds to my game. :)
Also to answer your question about the long videos. I think it depends on my mood. Sometimes Iâm like ugh I canât watch a 34 minute video and I go to usually the decorating part but other times I love watching speed builds and look for super long ones. So I would say make a mix of both short and long ones. Even if I donât want the video right after it uploaded because Iâm not in the mood, I will eventually. â€ïžđ
I like rooms to be complimentary in style but not necessarily matching... The wood colour of doors/kickboards/floors/furniture for example I tend to carry through, but then the individual colour schemes of a room tend to vary âșgreat build btw! Really enjoyed watching it!
I love long build videos when thereâs good commentary with it. I tend to lose focus when itâs just music and a time lapsed video. Your length videos can keep me invested so I love them. And communal spaces like the kitchen and living room definitely should have somewhat the same color scheme. bedrooms are definitely free game as they depend on the personality yaknow?
Heya! Beautiful home. I definitly see the autumnal vibe and I'm here for it, so cozy! Nothing against longer videos, I enjoy watching them while building myself :) xx
I absolutely love this house. I love how lived in it looks and how realistic it is. I have been playing sims for years but I definitely cannot build like this :) Definitly going to download this next time I play.
I personally love adding computers to all my sims bedrooms. Gameplay wise it's nice for everyone to have their own desk space. I usually put in one sort of activity that they can do too. So either a journal, or a music player, or a Digital pad, something like that to utilize the space it provides. Even in small houses, I try to fit in a one-tile desk
Iâve been playing sims for a while now but this is the very first speed build Iâve ever watched. This was AMAZING. I watched all the way through and I am just amazed. Itâs inspiring me to do even more!!! Thanks for this! Itâs a very cute household and I learned so much from you!
Personally I watched the whole thing this time because watched this while I did homework but usually I donât like super long vids but 20-30 minutes is fine
This is really pretty! I love the colour scheme, it does feel very cosy. I think it's easier for elders to use showers because you need to raise your legs in order to get into a tub and that's hard if you have mobility issues, but maybe these grandparents are just very healthy lol.
In my opinion garages in Sims 4 houses are SO useful because if you have a sim that likes woodworking or candle making or any of that cool Eco stuff then you can put it all in the garage!!
I can totally relate to the struggles of not having a dishwasher and the utter RELIEF when you get one! Growing up me and my family lived in a rental apartment so we couldn't put in a dishwasher (and we couldn't afford it either). When we finally moved away from there and later bought the place we live in now, me, my brother and some of my uncles gave my mom a dishwasher as a 50th birthday gift and it has changed our kitchen lives! It's insane lmao
When I started playing the sims I had cats and dogs. I built my house which had a piano and cause I didnât have city living I used the grand piano. My house is weird and it felt more similar if I made some of the walls 1 tile thick. When it came to putting the piano in I shoved it through the wall and made it look as if it was an upright one. The wall was 1 tile thick so you couldnât see it on the other side. At the time I thought it looked really bad but looking back it actually looked like one đ
I absolutely love your build style. I donât think Iâve seen anyone start with the front of the house like that before. This is such a beautiful build!
I just want to say that I really love your voice and voiceover style, you are very pleasant to listen to! The house is so lovely, love the colors you used, it feels very cozy and homey đ In eastern Europe dishwashers are some sort of a luxury lol, because most people live in (small) flats and have very small kitchens that don't really have space for dishwashers. Also, it's not something in our culture to have dishwashers or the dryer machines (for laundry). Later edit: Regarding color schemes in a house - interior designers recommend to have a unitary style throughout your whole house, if possible you should match the outside and the inside as well (i.e. if you have a modern exterior, it would be weird to have a shabby chic interior). Even if you have for example a different color in another room, there should be a unitary style that makes everything look tied together - like the same wood colors in the furniture, same style of furniture and maybe just a more colorful wallpaper or accents. *However*, realistically, I haven't seen this very often, especially if it's a household where there are children or teenagers. They want to express themselves and that is usually reflected in their rooms which most often than not, disrupts the general style of the house. So I think either way is realistic, it just depends on the household's personal preference!
I love the long videos. Especially when I I'm listen to your videos while doing school. Your voice is soothing so it's perfect for background noise. I don't know, but it is
Keep your videos as long as you want! I am here to literally watch you build đ„° fwiw I always skip the screenshots at the end of all the speed builds I watch bc I'm not interested in them
I canât even do what you are doing with the house lol lol I donât have a computer but I do have the Sims 4 for Xbox one. Iâve tried to do a house like this but it took forever to find good items for it. Great video tho!!
I really love this house and it looks so cozy and I can definitely imagine a big family living here. You are so good at building and I love watching your videos. đ
I really enjoy the lenghts of your videos. To me, it doesnât feel like itâs too long or anything the like. Iâd rather have a really long video to enjoy and learn from, and actually seeing everything, instead of a 10min video that is rushed and somewhat nonesensical.
I say cut out the bathrooms if you show them no love. I know a lot of builders arenât overly excited about bathrooms/redo the same things over and over in their bathrooms cause letâs get real-bathrooms serve a very important function but they arenât that exciting *shrug* a thirty+ min build video is a tidddddgin long for me personally..I think maximum 22-25 is the sweet spot Your builds are awesome! Glad I found your channel!
SO cozy. This feels very warm and realistic, but still keeps that playful Sims vibe; this is what default homes ought to look like in the game. Really well done. Iâve just discovered your channel and really enjoy both your build/decorating style and your narration; clear and to-the-point but still conversational. Congrats on making it over 10k subs, no doubt that number will be climbing quickly. â€ïž
Oof... That living room is kind of red! đ¶ Bold choice, but I kinda dig it! đ All in all a great house! And great for generations. I love to play with Gens in a household! Definitely gonna, use this! đ€
When I decorate a house I think of the sims and if the parents have decorated their children's rooms. Because some parents do that but some don't. It's realistic both ways
I usually watch the whole or at least most of the speedbuild, and maybe one day while I'm building I'll come back to skip through the video for some cool interior and exterior ideas
Beautiful and pretty good creation overall voicing the backstory gives a good visual context as well. Just enough housing electronics suggest a family unit into each other and personal hobbies. If life was more like that. Exceptionally great video by the way your landscaping is just right.đđđđâ€ïžđ·
You are amazing! So I cleaned homes for a while and I can tell you colors in large home tends to match maybe not the same color but a lot of neutrals bedrooms can get colorful but depends on the people. Bathrooms elderly it can be either. Again depends on the people. Im new to your builds but so far Ive really liked what Ive seen. Keep up the good work, Ill be downloaded a ton, to play because I SUCK at builds lol
Hey! I really like this house! Super cute! So regarding the builds, my speed builds usually come in around 30 minutes but I always feel like itâs kinda long too. When I watch speed builds, sometimes, I will admit - I jump to the screenshots, but not a lot. I feel like I really enjoy speed builds between the 20-25 minute range - it depends on the person and the type of build I think. I watched this whole build bc I am taking inspiration from it and I love these types of builds. I think it just differs from simmer to Simmer. Lol Very well done! Also in the sims I love to carry out color themes throughout the house, but thatâs definitely not realistic in real life. Also sometimes I make really muted colored houses and then make super bright kids rooms. LOL sometimes it makes the kids rooms look out of place.
about the color scheme, in my house we have a different color for every room, like the "dayrooms" (kitchen, livingroom, diningroom) the colors are warmer , while the "nightrooms" (bedroom;bathrooms) the colors are colder (even tho my bedroom is orange..). Btw, I really love your build!
I always watch your build videos and your builds are amazing!! But I never build them I really wish I could build like youđ I'm really bad at building đ

I love having the toddlers rooms downstairs cause they have trouble walking up and down the stairs
This is the struggle with a lot of builds! I have been looking for a large home for my legacy royal family. All the big ones have tod rooms upstairs. :/
I always make playrooms for toddlers downstairs and put beds in them, and also I put a toddler room upstairs.
Same
Same, the struggle is real
My kid was taken away while climbing up the stairs
Can someone explain why she only has 3000 subs? Sheâs so talented she deserves wayyy more clout!
4 months later and she is at 24.4K
9 months later 30k
a year later and 34 k
47k
I think I'm one of the few people who watch CZcams videos all the way through no matter how long the videos are.. So I love your long videos!!
I love this house. To answer your questions, I watch to the end because I love hearing the thought process behind furniture and color choices. Girl-
You need more subscribers đ
Edit: Also idk why but ur voiceovers are really entertaining but also super calming. Maybe Iâm just tired đ
No it is itâs like smooth like butter lol thereâs no hard raspy sound to itâs niceđ€âš
In the midwest, usually the master bedroom and sometimes a guest bedroom is downstairs, while the kids bedrooms are upstairs
Same in Germany :)
You can use debug plants to lower the prices of your homes.
To be honest I prefer to keep the garage as the garage but a tip: if you build the garage to be level with the ground, you can add inside a door from the house and a small landing and stairs, I usually do that. Otherwise it's a really cool build! I've been saving your builds to my game. :)
Is no one gonna talk about how she used the garage as the kitchenđ
I literally do that all the time lol
No one would cause she does it a few times
Itâs actually quite common cause the garage has small windows perfect for counters and cabinets.
Also to answer your question about the long videos. I think it depends on my mood. Sometimes Iâm like ugh I canât watch a 34 minute video and I go to usually the decorating part but other times I love watching speed builds and look for super long ones. Itâs fine . Weâll just double tap right if we want to move forward lol so itâs ok
I like rooms to be complimentary in style but not necessarily matching... The wood colour of doors/kickboards/floors/furniture for example I tend to carry through, but then the individual colour schemes of a room tend to vary âșgreat build btw! Really enjoyed watching it!

ok but her voice is legit so kind and warm i- đ„ș
Iâve been watching your builds during cleaning/tidying so I like them long đ
I absolutely love this house. I love how lived in it looks and how realistic it is. I have been playing sims for years but I definitely cannot build like this :) Definitly going to download this next time I play.
I watch videos throughout..I like bingeing to videos and I especially get excited when you postđ
Your energy is beautiful!
I honestly don't skip, I like seeing the process and often don't care for the screenshots but sometimes watch them.
For me the master or the guest bedroom is always downstairs.
I personally love adding computers to all my sims bedrooms. Gameplay wise it's nice for everyone to have their own desk space. I usually put in one sort of activity that they can do too. the kids room with the pet! adorable

I don't know how I have never seen your builds I watch at least 10 builds a day. Your build style is amazing.
Personally I watched the whole thing this time because watched this while I did homework but usually I donât like super long vids but 20-30 minutes is fine
Tubs can be difficult for some elderly people because they have to step up over the edge. Great build! đ
I just discovered your channel with this video, I'm currently at minute 15 and I love it SO MUCH, your building style is just *chefs kiss* đ€©
This is really pretty! I love the colour scheme, it does feel very cosy.
I think it's easier for elders to use showers because you need to raise your legs in order to get into a tub and that's hard if you have mobility issues, but maybe these grandparents are just very healthy lol.
You are such a good builder! Love how it looks! â€ïž
i watch these videos when I am bored and try to memorize it so when i go to my friends house i can make a house like this. It inspires me.
As an Icelander, I agree with wanting to have a garage so you don't have to trudge outside in the cold! I've never had one, maybe one day haha
ahhh i love this house!
you sure do love that one rug lol
Literally the prettiest home ever đ Iâm binge watching a bunch of your builds rn :)
There is so much character to this house, I love it!
I'm currently on isolation and you are making these 14 days so much better :) thank you!
In my opinion garages in Sims 4 houses are SO useful because if you have a sim that likes woodworking or candle making or any of that cool Eco stuff then you can put it all in the garage!!
Iâm totally fine with builds this long! I love hearing like why you did everything in the build and I think itâs great how much you leave in!
I can totally relate to the struggles of not having a dishwasher and the utter RELIEF when you get one! Growing up me and my family lived in a rental apartment so we couldn't put in a dishwasher (and we couldn't afford it either). Most bedrooms here are up or down but older people want down stairs cause stairs become an issue. I love the house by the way. Gonna download it.
i love long build videos! they're nice to listen to as i'm building myself, or falling asleep, or just for fun!
Absolutely gorgeous family home đĄ đČđđłđ„° xx
I absolutely love your build style. I donât think Iâve seen anyone start with the front of the house like that before. This is such a beautiful build!
You can always do like a bridge to the garage
Ummm I am AMAZED by your ability to roof and landscape, I've been playing this game since almost the beginning of the Sims 1 and I could never!
This makes me wish more than ever that my gallery was working đ„Č
I watch these late at night so I like the long videos but I still enjoy the shorter videos too
I just want to say that I really love your voice and voiceover style, you are very pleasant to listen to! I love the deep red/teal/dark wood combo
I love everything about this! You make everything so realistic!! Iâm staying forever! Btw; I stay the whole video!đâ€ïžđ„°
I love that you brought up SimLicy because sheâs my favorite and youâve become another one of my favorites!! I love your builds so much
I canât even do what you are doing with the house lol lol I donât have a computer but I do have the Sims 4 for Xbox one. Iâve tried to do a house like this but it took forever to find good items for it. Great video tho!!

I found your channel recently, and I wanted to say I enjoy watching your videos, you, SimLicy, and Aveline inspire me to build better in Sims
first time im seeing your channel, this house is absolutely stunning!
wow this is really talented. why don't you have more subscribers
Yes, the terrain and paint tools are definitely the best for garages! Great job!!!
Honestly, (re: video length) I like listening to the voiceovers even if I donât even watch it! So I donât mind how long it is usually.
Another stunning build đđđ
this is the best house iâve seen in the sims 4!
These long videos are so nice to watch!!!
This is the first video of yours I've seen but I'm already obsessed!! The build is amazing and you're voice is so nice and calming
i love the speed that you build and I watch it all! thank you for your beautiful builds!
I love this build so much and have no problem watching longer house videos.
Are you using reshade?
Beautiful and pretty good creation overall voicing the backstory gives a good visual context as well. Just enough housing electronics suggest a family unit into each other and personal hobbies. If life was more like that.
Exceptionally great video by the way your landscaping is just right.đđđđâ€ïžđ·
So cute! Also, I like long speed build personally, I also love just house tours too!
i love your speedbuilds and lose track of time, so the length doesnât bug me. great build!
I watch every single minute including the ads, these videos are really soothing to me for some reason
130K because this is an amazing home. Move-in-ready for great storytelling. Downloading.đ„°
Aw thank you!! Enjoy đ„°đ
You are amazing! So I cleaned homes for a while and I can tell you colors in large home tends to match maybe not the same color but a lot of neutrals bedrooms can get colorful but depends on the people. Hey! I really like this house! Super cute! So regarding the builds, my speed builds usually come in around 30 minutes but I always feel like itâs kinda long too. Very well done!
Also in the sims I love to carry out color themes throughout the house, but thatâs definitely not realistic in real life. Also sometimes I make really muted colored houses and then make super bright kids rooms. LOL sometimes it makes the kids rooms look out of place.
I really love your channel. I've stumbled upon it and also really appreciate the music at the end. It is very relaxing and really is inspirational.
about the color scheme, in my house we have a different color for every room, like the "dayrooms" (kitchen, livingroom, diningroom) the colors are warmer , while the "nightrooms" (bedroom;bathrooms) the colors are colder (even tho my bedroom is orange..). Btw, I really love your build!
youâre amazing!! also, you and Simlicy remind me so much of each otber
the dishwasher story is so funny to me because our dishwasher broke a really long time ago and we finally replaced it a few years ago, and it broke after like a year or 2 đ©đ we still havenât fixed it, my brother and i have been begging to get it fixed, we hate doing the dishes đ
Omg ur amazing at building !!
đđđđđ LOVE IT! And love your channel, Iâm new here đ·đ·đ· itâs ur second video I watch for now đ€ gonna be addicted đ
Just found your channel and Iâm obsessed with your videos!đđ
i stay and watch the whole build, i love your builds. :)
I personally enjoy longer builds!
i love watching long videos i do gotta say i never watch the screenshots on anyones speed builds lol
Your house are so great love themđșâ€â€â€â€â€â€â€đ„°đ„°đ„°
Your videos seem amazing. Honestly, I want to find the time to check out all of them...
I always watch your build videos and your builds are amazing!! But I never build them I really wish I could build like youđ I'm really bad at building đ
just discovered the channel, definitely subscribing
Where I live itâs very common that if you have a 2 story house thereâs usually like one bedroom downstairs with the rest upstairs and thatâs usually used as the office space or if you have an adult child thatâll be their room
