I'd love to see TRUE FOOD TV's take on green tea and coffee. Hope they'll consider those. Hehe. Kudos!
Thank you so much for the lovely feedback!!! I'm so grateful for your support. Both tea and coffee are HIGH on the list! We're trying to figure out how to fund a trip to these growing regions.
Have you considered starting a Patreon page so supporters of your channel can donate on a monthly basis?
I don't know why you would think it is underrated. Everyone who watches them loves them... you must mean not widely known. They will get there with time.
Hey TRUE FOOD TV if you're up for going very far away for coffee I would recommend Panama, not only because I am Panamanian but because they grow some amazing specialty coffee such as Geisha in Boquete.
That is what I am talking about.
I'm graduating this year in Bachelor's of science in Agriculture. Wish me luck.
Good luck!
Best of luck!!!

Most of farmers are very kind polite and humble..always ready to help others.. im also son of a farmer and im proud abt it.
I'm originally from a large farm in Alberta, Canada. I love fresh tomatoes. Once, I bought heirloom tomatoes from a grocery store. I kept some of the seeds and they were planted. They grew into tall tomato plants, with lots of fruit.
well done!
Yay! Finally the wait is over.
Love this series! Another great episode! It was worth the wait.
This lady enjoyed making this video. Keep them coming, Cheers.
This show should be on regular TV ...so educational and well presented!!! HELLOOOO food network you are missing on some one that's better than anyone you have !!!!!

Just found your channel. I'm loving how lighthearted, cheesy-funny, and most importantly, incredibly informative it is! Thanks for doing what you do.
Always having lighthearted fun over here! Glad to have you watching!
When you visit the farmers while making these videos. Thank them for us since we live in the city. Are you doing a video ion sunflowers next?
When we were there filming, I kept saying: we're coming back for sunflowers next! Would you like to see a sunflower HDIG? (ps You bet -- I always thank them -- from all of us!)
@@TrueFoodTV aaaah sunflowers please ! đ»đ»đ»

Sorry for repeatedly saying that this is beautiful cinematography. The editing, the songs and especially the host...ugh!
This channel deserves more views.

you got it!
That was great, one of your best! Canât wait for the next one
Glad this show is back more power
Hi, I would like to say that I love this "How does it grow" series. I think you're doing a great job and I feel quite inspired about the insight I get into these farmers practices and ways of upscaling. I grow most of these vegetables myself as a homestead farm/food forest and aim to find a way to upscale in an environmentally sustainable way. Please keep it up, so far the best episode for me was the Amalfi coast lemons one.
YES! at last love it! The wait is over! LOVE TOMATOES!!!!
Lovely video. Always eagerly waiting for your new episode.
đ đ đ đ I think my faves so far have been the avacado and lemon. They're all great, though!
So glad you enjoyed it!
Introduced the series to my boyfriend and we love watching it together. It's such a fun, happy, feel good take on produce. The quality is amazing and the host's enthusiasm is infectious.
Thank you!!
These videos are beautiful! I love knowing where and how our food gets to our table. We need to be more appreciative, grateful and considerate with our food and the planet it grown on. Thank you for making this video and all others possible â€ïž
You should have a show in Discovery Channel/ National Geographic, great videos, keep it up!!
Amazing production... love it . Better than television series.
thank you so much!
Great to see another episode after such a long while. Amazing how a show about tomatoes could put me in such a good mood. Excellent cinematography and presenting, as usual.
Thank you, Han! Always love to hear from you.
Her enthusiasm makes it 10 times better
This is amazing to watch
As usual, another amazing episode. Such a wonderful channel!
thank you so much, trey!
When Dustin shakes the bush and all those tomatoes fall out, so impressive. And he's got the best name!
I used to farm canning tomatoes northeast of Dixon. We got out of the business when Hunts Wesson closed their Davis processing plant so they could buy cheaper tomatoes from China. Good luck to those still in the business.
Wow. Just wow! Beautifully made video. This deserves to be on TV! Great job Nicole and to your whole team! God bless! â€ïžđđŒđđ»
thank you so very much, ashley!
finally the channel is active again..one of my top fav channel in agriculture is back again. The anchor, video quality, presentation, narration and everything is top notch..please continue work more and more again..
Thank you so much! We really appreciate you taking the time to share this lovely feedback.
Great to see this, so many people don't know where their food comes from.
PLUS they are showing Valley Farm Transport Tomato Tubs, I pulled those tubs from the fields of southern San Joaquin Valley and the northern fields of Yolo county to various canneries. Long days 7 days a week once things got rolling in harvest season, after tomatoes I hauled various grains until the end of season. Working for Valley Farm Transport was a great experience with a great company I got to go places in California I never knew existed and that's along list.
Valley Farm Transport Truck (old#!) 32, 50 & 53 three seasons.
OMG, this deserves to be millions viewed. Quality is top-notch, seriously.
You need a TV show. Just because of you. đđ
Agreed
the animation was so cute đđ!!!!!
Glad you liked it!
it's been a while! i love this. i planted a couple of tomatoes in our yard and i saw a couple of buds this morning. i'll keep in mind to let them fully ripen before picking them. đđ đ đ đ lots of love from the Philippines
best of luck with your next tomato crop!
Love the episode! Grew up in the San Joaquin/Central Valley of CA and would always see tons of trucks carrying these tomatoes each season to the Ragu processing plant nearby.
Thank you!! You know exactly what it's like then.
I love this channel. So informative and happy
thank you!
love your editing style. Great video
thank you very much!!

Okay, that tomato harvester is definitely the most interesting harvester Iâve ever seen!
That rubix toss was legendary... He caught it like a second baseman, lol.

Hello from Indonesia, i hope u come here đ
Finally you did tomatoes.
Yes!
youtube needs to make a "LOVE" button.. just for these videos! excellent work! i've been telling all my friends & fam about this channel. beautiful, educational and a joy to watch. i only wish there were a thousand more vids
I love the hosts enthusiasm makes it that much more enjoyable to watch.
Those tomatoes look brighter than my future đ
đ
Your future is what you make it
you were dressed appropriately for this episode, sweet as a ripened tomato.. pun intended
have you seen the lemon episode?
Thanks for the great and informative content!!! Glad you chose the canning tomatoes. I do not usually like "fresh" tomatoes from the produce section
Beautiful aerial shots. I canât imagine how bright and red it looks in real life
Tomatoes are my favourite thing to grow đ
They may be mine too. What kinds do you grow?
no wonder this is on my recommended videos
05:52 đ
I saw what you did there đđ
I was going to comment the same lmao
Blood, sweat and tears huh :v
Another great episode Nicole. I never really thought about the cultivar difference between fresh tomatoes and tinned tomatoes. In England we have a tomato season from May to October where there are fresh, organic cherry and plum tomatoes available to buy. The rest of the year we have tinned because the imported tomatoes taste quite flavourless; clearly because theyâve been picked green. Food crops are fascinating and Iâll be learning al lot more about them now Iâve started my undergraduate degree course in plant science.
Iâve been trying to stop myself from liking the video before I watch it but I just love this channel too much!!
The aviators seemed an odd choice. I'm so happy to have someone out there supporting farmers. Nothing wrong with processing except that it cuts off the consumer from the producer.
Hey now - that was some harsh California sunshine!
Great video Nicole very informative as usual. Being a Brit I pronounce it âtomartoâ though đș
I'm surprised I didn't slip once or twice and say "to-mah-to!" ;)
Haha yes what with your husband being a Brit to i guess you could easily have done! ;)
Britishisms slip out when I lest expect it! đ
Haha! :) Which Britishisms do you tend to let slip out? Do you ever accidentally round your vowels for instance?
I like how the Brits say alu-min-e-um & shed-u-al.
Ive been waiting for new eps and thank you for coming back with real amazing video about my favorite thing "tomato".
*Another excellently produced video. Worth the wait. Love, from New York, Cubao* đ”đ
What does he do with the sunflowers?
I assume that he has a buyer for the seeds. Sunflower seeds can be eaten, obviously, but sunflower oil is a pretty hot commodity as well.
please do about hops and beer process
Can't believe this channel is not widely known. I'm so glad I found it and now I'm hooked in all your videos! Very amazing work, more power to you and all your team..

Thank you so much for making these amazing videos
Brilliant how a simple wardrobe choice of fit and color subliminally reinforces the topic of healthy, ripe, plump, perfect, delectable tomatoes!
So educational...

You're so beautiful! And such a beautiful presenter, very passionate! Thank you for sharing đ
They act like they aren't making millions a year lol
Old money don't brag like Kardashians
Price per pound minus equip cost & wages, they have to grow a lot of tomatoes.
Farming is not an easy profession. It is very easy to lose everything.
Farming is not easy, I agree. No matter what I grow in my garden turns out a disaster.
@@Pippie5555 Same, ive tried to grow so many pepper plants they all died đ
one of her best episodes!!!! I love what your doing more power on your show!
Easily one of the best episodes yet!
Tenu kala chashma jachda hai.. Jachda hai gore mukhde pe. đ
Lol....
Tomato is fruit
yes indeed!
Botanically speaking, it's a fruit. For culinary purposes, it's a vegetable.
@@polkadottedpolak every fruit is a vegetable but not every vegetable is a fruit.
Again, it depends on if you're speaking about botanical or culinary classification. Botanically speaking, every part of an herbaceous plant that humans eat is considered a vegetable. For culinary purposes, it's all of that minus the stuff that's sweet. In the latter sense, no fruits would be vegetables.
Just found your channel this morning and I really like the content that you're putting up! Thank you for sharing and thumbs up to the crew as well!
