its a great game and challenge to adapt for good NLH players. bit like PLO, good hands aren't safe, even bad hands oro nes behind on the flop can have good odds. especially important to pay attention to context of the own hand strengh and be aware of the situation

This is short deck poker not Hold’em. The rules and the playing cards are different

This game is called short deck hold'em, which means that all of the cards from 2-5 has been removed from the deck. Therefore the Ace becomes a 5

9:48 Ben peeling off a £50 note really tells the story. You basically never see them in circulation.
for the internationals -- it's also the highest value note issued by the Bank of England, and they're the least used note in transactions. Those who use cash machines will know that neither 5 or 50 pound notes pops out of the slot with regularity, they're both hoarded.
@@VirenMohindra £5 comes out of cash machines in certain places like Tesco.. and if you go to a bank you get all your money in £50 notes. nothing special about either of them
@@CarloRossiey I have often taken money out of banks and you don't get £50 notes. Bookmakers use them a lot to pay out, but banks don't use them much, and quite a few shops refuse to accept them on grounds of forged notes and not being familiar enough with £50 notes to spot the forgeries.
@@johnnyhartley4330 If you ask specifically for £50 notes and they have them they will give them to you, and iv worked at tesco's, marks and spencers, whetherspoons, all of which accept them, once you check if they're real with the pen/note reader its all good. Its legal tender at the end of the day

Where I live there are shops with signs on the window "£50 not accepted," glad to hear that tesco's, marks and spencers, whetherspoons are more flexible.

No you are misunderstanding the game my friend. In short deck A6789 is a straight
its a short-deck poker means cards 2 through 5 are removed from the deck so A6789 is straight in Short-deck poker. Hope it helps

I'm not good enough to say who played better, but in poker the best player does not always win a single tournament or table. The best players average good finishes over a long period of time.
